For starters, the US version of Top Gear is stupid shit. I tried giving it a chance to grow and improve, to find its own particular stride. I'm done. It's useless. Next, the British presenters bag on American cars being shit, and they are absolutely right. I wouldn't own anything from Chrysler or GM. There are a few pretty designs that catch my eye here and there, but just getting behind the wheel on the lot, without even starting it, puts a quick wrap to that. If I was in the market for a full size pickup, I'd get a Ford, and that is the end of the list. The British Top Gear runs on BBC America, and the DVR records every episode. It's my default TV. Beautiful cars, outstanding film production, and actual wit between the hosts. I'm about to break 100,000 miles on my '07 Honda (built in the US south btw - Alabama, I think), and the only thing wrong with it are some stains in the upholstery because I often have dogs in the back. It's just about due for the first real servicing. Just for the record though, with lottery money to play with, I probably would buy a Jag, but I wouldn't have a Range Rover bought with someone else's money.
