Don't you think this is a little narrow-minded? I'm a feminist. I was raised by a mother who hated children and let us know at every opportunity what a burden we were to her.
I admire greatly women who want children and choose to stay home and raise them lovingly.
I chose not to have children because I have no interest in maternity. I enjoy my career. Society benefits from people doing what they chose rather than what society expects of them. My mother, who married in 1949, was expected to have kids according to that era's standards. How sad that her children suffered because of it.
