There is another option, you can ship them. Just send them off the day before you go. Most times, unless you are going out of country, you can do 2 day delivery and have them the day after you arrive.

This is the best option, as unless its explosives, caustic materials, or firearms, most places will ship anything anywhere. And yep, they will take it right out of your checked luggage, and not even tell you the reason. Just a note that items were confiscated. Of course you then would have to decide whether to go through that long, painful, loud process of getting your glass dildo back from the TSA

This thread reminds me of the time I traveled with the 312b (electro box) and several insertables. When going through security at the airport, I got the raised eyebrows. "What's this?" "My date." That was the end of it.

I've never paid for checked luggage. The airlines I travel usually allow one bag free and I'm a light packer. TSA can go through any luggage that they want and if they feel it's something illegal they are free to confiscate it. They may or may not contact you to let you know depending on what was taken. I just assume anywhere I go, anything I have, is subject to search. All part of working government jobs.

Can I take my glass toys and vibrators in my carryon, or do I have to put them in checked luggage? I was thinking that if they're going to open up my bags and look at them anyway, I'd rather be there when they do. But the glass is kinda heavy.

Perhaps you can improvise when you get there and travel without them (thus) avoiding the issue entirely.
