I am working on this now. I do not mind showing off for Master, but the idea of showing off for others terrifies me. However, he very much likes the idea and wants me to know he is proud of me. It will just take time I suppose.

Depends on the situation and the people, like early posters have been saying, some Dom's consider it a form of humilation for their subs while other Dom's might be proud of how "good" their sub is and show them off.

My boy is a bit of an exhibitionist (hence the reason for his birthday party) I on the other hand am rather shy and quiet...I am so proud of him though that upon occassion I show him off (as long as I am in the background)

My Dom shows me off in a very classy way, by letting me be me. I take great pride in pleasing Him... He is a very private person and does not get into "displays" per se, but I know what He wants from me in the public forum. I know how to treat him so that He feels respected, and He tells me all the time how proud He is of me. This comes naturally... not something He had to train me to do (well, maybe just a little). Whenever He takes me out in public, it's a bit of a display, and I love that He wants others to see me in all my submissive glory.

What is really fun, is when He introduces me to His friends, and then sits back and watches me. I take great pleasure in making His friends jealous of him. <evil grin>

I enjoy being shown off....not as a trophy...or a conquer....but because he is proud of me and enjoys knowing that although another may be looking....it is him I adore....in fact in past relationships....when another man stares or tries to approach me...I will reach out for my dates hand...arm or a kiss....so that it is understood....looky looky no touchy touchy.....lol...

I also enjoy having the man I am with looked at....kind of showing him off in a way...I know he is with me and if others want to look...by all means look...but again...no touchy touchy
