I haven't seen much about Dommes wanting to "show off" their subs. Do many Dommes like this?

My Mistress loves to do that to/with me. It ranges from my wearing pink dress shirts to work to pink thongs at the beach, and semi-fetishwear sometimes (parties/clubs). When she's feeling particularly frisky or Dominant, I'll have my pants tented or even stained with pre-cum--she loves the look that others give us as I follow her around.

Just curious whether many women like this.

Some do, some don't. I love getting attention and showing off my keen fashion sense, and definitely enjoy when someone shows me off.

But my partners are far more on the shy side/not into that sort of thing.

If my nick was "MaleModel" a Dom/me might want to show me off. However, it isn't, usually my owners throw a tarp over me.

Dear MaleModel, Ladies and Gentlemen;

I have had many occassions to dominate male models, professional male models, body builders and good looking men.

Some love the attention as to pose as a slave and such and, some really hate people drooling over them like cheap meat--they are people to--sometimes people forget that.

In summary, it depends on the male slave/submissive. You don't have to be muscle or a model, an average man can be extremely thrilling for the eyes to enjoy. It really is hard to miss the glow of a submissive and or slave that exceeds the boundaries of the body itself.

I love showing off my sub/slave wheather it be in an evening gown, Biker short, short, shorts with a very thin see through white, braless tank top or anything in between.

I love being shown off, looking good in expensive shoes and nice dresses, but it's more shown off as looking feminine, pretty and in that sense normal rather than a D/S kind of being shown off.

Often, public display of a submissive,
is used as a humiliation technique,

DelRey comes the closest to what Mistress Lauren does......she shows me off for Her pleasure, not because I like it.

Sometimes I do like it, other times I feel like a piece of meat on display......might as well be in the supermarket <<<<< I think it's these times that SHE enjoys the most......my pants being tented still does embarass me......consequently she enjoys it more........but it's getting less as I get more used to it.

Actually, Sir. i'd have to disagree with You. Personally, i adore being shown off and take pride in the fact that my Dominant is proud of His possession. It isn't humilliating in the least.

It's all about context. As ClassAct points out, showing off can be a totally vanilla pleasure hence "arm furniture". And what's the pleasure there? For the owner of the arm it's trophy display and for the "furniture" it's a sense of high value (not talking Chippendale! - for those of you who are thinking otherwise, Chippendale was an 18C cabinet-maker in London, England). The D/s couple showing off the sub in a vanilla environment - I think that's something very different: it's a joint challenge to others' sensitivities and boundaries. That's when a sub can feel great pride and confidence (rather than humiliation) becase this is a team with two members, enjoying the attention and, often, admiration of the vanilla audience. And then there's showing off your sub a local dungeon - now the doors are wide open: the sub may feel anything from utter pride to vicious humiliation, it all depends on the detail.

Personally, because that is the fun part, I do enjoy having my woman dress just slightly too provocatively for it to go totally unnoticed as we walk down the street.

Peter, If I was a domme and you were my property, I would show you off every day, my buttons would just pop with pride.

My Master used to like to show me off, i guess i was younger and thinner then. It was nice to look up into his eyes and see the pride on his face and something about knowing I was the source of that pride. It would put me in that floaty kind of subspace often. At first it bothered me, but I realized that was just my ego, what he was doing had nothing to do with me, he was showing off that which was his.

I take great pride in "showing" my brat off. She feels a great sense of achievement with her servitude when I am "showing" her off. Not to mention it pleases me to see her in all her pride and glory. This is mainly used as a reward system in my household. When she does well, I will take her out, "show" her off. When she screws up, well that's a paddlin and I might just be inclined to "show" off my red hand prints on her ass. Which I might add, she wears so very well. You are right, Thomas Chippendale was from Yorkshire, but his fame as a cabinet maker was whilst working in London. I am less interested in where people are from than where they are going.

You seem to have a chip on your shoulder. You shouldn't, Cumbria is beautiful.
