So is it then your opinion that nobody who self-identifies as occupy has decried the shitting on police cars thing... or the bridge thing... or a handful of other shit? In the end, occupy for me is about the message not some guy shitting on a police car. I listened to the message and decided they were correct. Wall street had purchased the US government. We have gone from "too big to fail" to "too big to jail". We're fucked if we don't deal with the banker/politician class somehow. I really don't see how some guy shitting on a police car has anything to do with the things I care about.

The same thing works in reverse. Whether or not the Boston bombing turns out to be a gun nut doesn't have any impact on my opinion that it's urgently necessary to keep the citizenry armed. The fact that the nutter Ron Paul decries the fed doesn't change the fact that I dislike having a secretive group controlling the US monetary supply (in obviously disastrous ways).

I prefer to deal with issues, not individuals unless the individual makes himself the issue.

I don't disagree with the OWS message. I disagree with the target. Annoying Wall Street isn't going to force them to mend their ways. They are going to continue to buy their ways. The real target should have been the Federal Government. The people are going to have a bit more influence on their representatives than they will on Wall Street. IMO, this is where the OWS and Tea Party overlapped.
