So, how is a person to ask for a clarification? How about this, point out where I spoke about George Bush and said he was a member of the Tea Party, or where something like that happened. Considering that Bush pushed for and passed TARP, then he must be part of the tea party, right? And, considering that the first Tea Party protest was over TARP and ARRA, how is it that the Tea Party sponsors that Corporate Welfare? I certainly I hope I don't have to digitize this stuff so it sticks. But, blaming the Tea Party for the bank bailouts is wrong. As far as the Tea Party and OWS being similar, well, they are, imo. The problems that they protested were similar, but who they were protesting were quite different. OWS was screaming at Wall Street, as if Wall Street is going to see them as reason to make a change. The Tea Party protested to DC, where the changes will have to take place. I am cynical that either will end up being successful. DC likes being bought by Wall Street, and Wall Street profits by buying DC. That's what Wall Street does. However, that's not what DC is supposed to do, by any stretch.
