Why didn't they pull their kids out of there if they had a problem? The story on the radio said they were fully clothed. So then maybe the dancing was the problem. Naa I've seen people on dance floors. You might find it hard to discern whether they are fucking or not.

Oh my. My worst drunk moment was after a bottle of grape mad dog. That stuff tasted like kool aid and I think it was gone before I even felt buzzed. It was forever ago but I still remember holding onto the floor wishing the room would stop spinning.

Maybe the kid didn't have any friends, and hiring strippers was the only way to get people to show up at the party.

I have never in my life had a hangover. I used to get the worst glares from my husband when we would both get drunk but only he woke up feeling horrible. I was happily making breakfast asking if he would like some. My mother says I got that from her.

Was what this mom did illegal? If so, then it shouldn't have surprised her that she got into trouble. I mean, I think the 25 mph speed limit in front of my house is stupid, but if I go 45....then it's not like the blue lights behind me are gonna be a big shocker.

I'm still kinda surprised the bowling alley didn't say something. Even though it was a private area, at bowling alley parties I have been at with private areas are coming and going into the party, delivering drinks, food, cleaning up, making sure everything is ok, etc...did no employees or manager see anything? And were the other parents there or was it just the kids and the one mom? Usually at teenage parties, the parents are rarely there. They just drop the kids off and tell them to be home at a certain time or to just have fun and they'll pick them up later. At least that's the way it was with my kid and parties. So I'm going to assume a parent went in to pick up a kid and saw what was happening. The mother of the 16 year old just sounds extremely stupid. And if she's labeled a sex offender, won't they take her children away? I dunno.

She shouldn't be labeled as a sex offender, but yes, she appears quite stupid, or astoundingly lacking in good judgment at the mininum.

From the other articles I read, it sounded like there may have been other adults but a lot of the parents were not present. Most of them heard about it from their kids and saw photos. Some posted on social media (one was plastered on the other news article). Some kids were as young as 14. It also stated the stripper could face charges of sexual acts with a minor and the bowling alley could have to face the state liquor authority. This was an older article, before the mother was charged, so I don't know if they're actually being held responsible for anything. I know it says the stripper had the decency to keep her thong and bra on, but if that were me I would have kept my clothes on, turned around and walked away. I doubt the mother will have to register as a sex offender. It says she has 5 charges against her (the police apparently said they could charge her for more but 5 was enough?) and I'm assuming it's 5 counts of child endangerment but the article did not specify. If someone wants to get their 16 year old a stripper, that's their business. But it's not up to her to decide what's morally acceptable for others' kids. Therefore, I do completely agree with the child endangerment charge.

I read their were like 84 people invited, and yes other parents were present, which is...uh...interesting. I also read the youngest was 13, not 14. She WAS charged with 5 counts of child endangerment, and I DO believe she should be labeled a sex offender, just as much as the guy who takes a piss outside, thinking he is sheltered from view, but someone notices and has him arrested. Yes, I take a VERY hard line with people who think they have a right to decide what is best for MY child. That might be because of this very messed up mother of a "friend" of my son's (I repeatedly told him to stay away after the first incident). First she hosts a co-ed slumber party when my son was 14, so he could sleep with his 14 year old girlfriend. Then, a couple years later, my son defies me again, goes to the mall with her, and she proceeds to have him, and her two sons (one was 9 at the time) shoplift under her direction. They all got caught. The latest was that she got drunk with her now 19 year old and 15 year old son and they had sex. I mean really, children's services didn't think this woman shouldn't have her kids when she had them shoplifting? But yea, that may taint my view on this, but I would pretty much strip the bitch, crazy glue her to a pole at a biker bar and let them have their way with her.

While I don't think hiring strippers for a 16 year old's birthday party, I would like to know how seeing a naked, or partially naked women "Endangers the welfare of a child?"
