Oh, glad I could help. There are several little reusable filters on the market, I do NOT recommend the one by Keurig for their machines as it squirted water everywhere in my machine. I got a different one through Amazon and it works much better. It's just a little baby coffee filter, and you fill it to the desired level to decide how strong you want it with whatever ground coffee you wish to use. Before they came out with Dunkin Donuts k cups, this is how i had Dunkin Donuts k cups Obviously, the price of a cup of coffee from a Keurig machine drops dramatically if you aren't buying k cups, and are only paying for the amount of ground coffee used in this filter. For strong coffee I bought Medaglia D'Oro ground espresso and filled it to the top line on the filter insert; give it a bit more time for the water to finish dripping through the filter. You dump out the grounds, rinse, and voila, ready for another cup whenever. Just a note, there are NEVER any grounds in the coffee, even with the fine espresso bean grind. It's really a waste for me to make a pot, and even when there are more people around, they rarely seem to want coffee at the same time, lol. Thanks again, you all have shared some great coffee making tidbits. I agree, even when there are more people around, they rarely want coffee at the same time.
