After her original post, she mentions in post #22 that he's angry, living in his car, and his life is out of control. Later, she says the DIL showed up in shock and is now in the hospital.

Her inaction to call the authorities is reprehensible. Yes, I'm judgemental that way.

I got her to sit she cried and told me what happened.

I now have the baby until morning she is in the hospital and i disowned him. I didn't raise him to put his hands on women and his father and i never fought.

I feel lost and tomorrow when I see my Master i will let know what i am dealing with.

You did the right thing....now don't let your boy around the child or your grandchild's daughter.
