That's bullshit... just saying.

And not to doublepost or anything, but I've dated a few gals who had cosmetic surgery done. Especially tits.
And the irony is that most of em got the surgery because of self esteem issues, they thought if they looked like X,Y,Z that people (Men) would like them, think they were attractive.
But instead what happened most of the time was that the surgery compounded the issues, because now when a guy liked em, they were left wondering, does he really like ME, or does he just like my tits, or whatever other asset they had altered.
The real kicker is that there were a few girls who it didn't effect much either way-they did it for straight cash. One, a stripper, looked at me and said, "See that Vette parked out front. These tits paid for that."
Didn't affect her self esteem either way, but sure gave her some nice loot!

Honestly, I don't know of any porn stars nor ever heard of any that are spiritual, let alone uber spiritual. Then again, the only people at all that I know who are spiritual are both of us and those where I grew up and even they are becoming fewer and fewer as they move away.

For clarity, I mean cosmetic surgery as a whole, not just breast augmentation...

Though for arguements sake.. If they were confident with what "god" gave em, why get the boob job? The old line of well industry demands is bullshit, that is just herd mentality and refusal of being an individual, which can then be used to argue if they were happy with themselves why change?

So, has anyone found anything out about the methodology of the experimenters here, yet? I've never been entirely convinced by the view that female porn actors were all 'broken women' - but I can't help being suspicious of an experiment that depends simply upon asking such actors about their subjective view of themselves (should that have been the case here). You know how it works: ask a copper if he's a racist, it's not a great surprise if he says 'No, of course not!'

Status: offline 		Peon, that was my thoughts exactly. According to what I have read, they were simply asked if they were spiritual or if they are happy, etc....of course they are going to say they are.

There was no other study done except to contact 177 porn stars and ask them, at least that's what I've read. Apparently they tried to get porn star men also but none of them they contacted would take part in the study.

Status: offline 		i read the whole study, and while the results were interesting, it's clear to me that they'll need to survey more folks in the industry and ask more comprehensive questions.
