Nope. Just another of the obvious tech issues CM has.

And they do not let you know that, either. So you know to do it yourself. They just...missed it. Updating a profile at least once a year would be a good idea anyway. But having to update age manually is...non-optimum.

I am in Canada. We are not able to search by province (except as a keyword). Default search is...the whole country. Oh, plus the occasional UK profile that gets dropped in.

And unless someone knows to type their city into the -Province- box, the only location given for them is their province. And most provinces are hyooj. Frustrating when you are looking for realistic proximity and over half the candidates could be 5 miles...or 1000 miles...away. Yes, Ontario is THAT big.

ETA: To the OP... Maybe it is just that posting BADLY is popintless.

I half expected this thread to be started by someone in their 50's..

But you're only 18, or so it says on your profile.

You go on about people being kept from the truth and chasing carrots.

What do you do at the weekends? Practise grunting and farting for when you get old?

Are you an automaton or some sort of machine?

This bit I'm going to bold for you..

You have complete control of your mind 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Only you can give up that control and let others dictate to you what you think and believe.

If you want anything good in life, you have to make the effort.

Life is about deciding what you want and making the effort to get it. Have you got it? No? Well keep making the effort until you do.

So many things you can do, go out, find some interests, make friends, meet women. The first two leads you to the third - in other words having interests and friends usually gets you laid.

You might want to think about that.

Anything is better than starting a whiny thread like some middle-aged has been keyboard warrior who just doesn't make the effort.

18 and knows what the world is about . Now when you can reach out to thousands of people at once and get to know the many things that are going on in the world you have issues with not meeting anyone because they don't reply to you . How many remember just having to search for a brunch or anything just to meet like minded people . Any way may be just getting off that chair and going out may help if you want to meet people . Go to the brunches or what evers and talk to people just don't say hi lets meet on a web sight . Make friends and get out . Having said that I now have to go see a guy about some doughnuts . Be well all .

I also have meet and made some very good friends from here on CM. If you are having problems then fix you're profile and add more information about yoursself and not just you're kinks. Take time and post what you are looking for and use you're journal to add more about yourself. But don't blame us id we do not repsond to some one that wines and complains when they don't even understand how to do a profile right after all we are looking at it to give us an idea if you are intelligent and possibly compatable before we even contact you. And I am not alone on that opinion.
