Honestly it's you. People meet from here all the time. There have been a ton of threads on how people have met here, go read the Positive Experience thread which is only about real life meetings. Then realize how many meetings aren't listed on that thread.

If you are expecting instant delivery of a sex crazed woman because you joined this site then prepared to be disappointed as they are passing you over for mature men who can spell and use grammar as well as carry on a conversation without whining. If there is a carrot being dangled, it's you who is buying into that thinking that you can shortcut the usual ways of meeting someone and just hop into bed asap. Go ahead and communicate "naturally" and see if you have better luck.

If posting here is pointless, why did you post? People meet in many ways in many different areas of life. I understand your on a crusade but I think you are talking to the wrong crowd here. They will encourage meets and greets but posting here they enjoy and several have met their mates through here.

This site is not franchised.

I have met people from here. Mostly just as friends.

What could the site do to showcase real meetings aside from the Positive Encounters forum that does exactly that?

How should the site encourage meetings? It permits people to search, and to contact others - what more should be done?

In what ways is the site lacking in integrity? Not meeting specific needs is not a result of a lack of integrity.

You want to meet through newspapers? Seriously?

Look - there is a very good chance that the problem is YOU. For starters:

1. Update your age. You should be 24 by now.

2. Use a different username. Yours makes you sound like a male sub fetishist.

3. Interesting women with an empty profile is akin to fishing with no bait. Fill yours out.

4. On the Internet, spelling and punctuation count. Make an effort.

I stopped counting when I had met and/or known two hundred people from the site. Granted, that is because I've lived in three different locations during My membership here, have been to numerous major events, and I've been presenting for quite a while. I know I've played (BDSM play, not sex) with at least ten percent of that number. I've been mentioned or written I don't know how many Positive Experience threads over the last five years.

Truthfully, if you can't meet anybody from here, either one on one or at munches and/or events, you're doing it wrong.

I'm guessing you're looking for sex. Not a great leap of deduction - many teens males come onto this site whining about 'fakes' and how 'bad' the site is when their godawful profiles prevent them from dipping their wicks.

I suggest you get out more. Seriously. Go to a club. Go to a bar. Hell, go to a library. Approach a woman. Talk to her.

Once you have a bit more dating experience under your belt, then come back here and fill out your profile. Make the effort to introduce yourself to people. Make friends. Go to munches.

Until then, you're too delicate a flower to survive in this scary, unfeeling website [8|]

This site (forum) isn't for hooking up, it's a
discussion area for bdsm & D/s related topics.

From my experience if you have questions, or
want to just talk with like minded people about
shared interests, or even just discover things...

This area has been extremely useful in my
experience.

I have talked to and read about a lot of people
that have got together through the CollarMe site,
which is the parther site of the one we are on
now. That area is dedicated to hooking up and
searching for compatible people, not here.

Although I have seen people on this side who
have developed friendships and gotten to know
each other and more, that is just a happy
occurrence.

As far as I can see, you have no idea what you
are talking about and if it's not working for you...
It's probably you thats the problem.

In addition to the other suggestions, try using fetlife or informedconsent to find a U35 group. (Under 35; in the US it's TNG.)
