well i guess i like financial bondage for selfish reasons. money stresses me out, not enough of it, what to do with it when there is extra. all of it. i just don't like it. as long as my needs are met i am happy, if i ask for something i am quite happy if to be told no, thats not possibly right now, and pleased to hear if there is. in previous relationships i was forced to handle finances and i absolutely hated it. if handing over my paycheque allows me to the freedom to not have to worry about it, im a very happy sub :) of course this requires a lot of trust in your Dom/me or Master-- but i trust Him with my life, why not money.

Obviously some do it to make money, others do it because its a trigger that gets some men hot to give up control of their money. It all depends upon what you are into. I don't think its to unlike the Dom who has his sub working and turning her paycheck over to him so he can take care of her money for her or the one who says he needs it to offset costs of toys etc. Some men are honest and do help their subs save and invest wisely, some do not. It just all depends upon the individual I personally oversee my subs finances as he is terrible with money and has bankruptcy in his past. He acknowledges he is terrible with money and Im good with it. Its his money, I dont spend it and I dont need it. But he now has savings in a bank account which is something that he never had before and his credit is being rebuilt. ~Lashra

My previous owner was really into "financial bondage." He really fucked up a lot of people including myself with that. He figured since he was my owner he would take care of all of my finances. Well, he most certainly took care of them, he stole all of my life savings and spent it on crap (nearly ten grand). When he ran out of money he would make me talk to people on the internet and pretend to be a Mistress and say that if you want me to talk to you you have to send this much money. Now, I am spending most of my time warning others about his poor behavior so that no one else gets into the situation that I was in. He fucked me over bad because of his "financial bondage" and now I am stuck in FL pretty much without friends and family trying to get back home to my family yet unable to because I have no money. My thoughts are: if anyone suggests financial bondage to you. Run away!!

There's financial domination where the Dom/me actually takes control of the submissive's finances and puts everything to appropriate use ... Then there's financial domination where the submissive gives up the power over his/her money, running the risk of being left penniless (and for some, that threat/fear is a major turn on) ... Pays tributes, tithes, etc etc etc ... And it really kind of seems like those are two very different things. One of my skills is handling money. I'm just REALLY good at it ... I'm like the budget queen. Of course, it would be nice if I had more of my own to play around with but in the past when I served, my skills with money were often put to use. I never considered myself to be financially dominating anyone although with that experience, I guess I'd probably be really good at it. At least in as much that the person who gave me control of their money would have all their bills paid on time, their credit cards chopped up and their debt payed off in a reasonable amount of time. But why? I really don't get it. I don't understand what thrill a dominant could get from that. Power thing, sure ... I guess this is why I'm not a dominant, though. Now, the ones who receieve gifts and whatnot, oh yeah I get that. I'd LOVE to have some guy just decide he was going to start giving me cash for simply being the wonderful sex godess that I am. Especially if it doesn't require me to get up close and personal with his bits ... Just give me the credit card and let me go. I've got an Amazon wishlist full of trinkets and stuff just waiting for the opportunity to enrich my life ... Yeah, I get that. lol

I once knew someone who wanted me to take over his finances and for me only to give him a small allowance... I knew another one who wanted me to "blackmail him" I was supposed to ask enough money to make him very very uncomfortable...

It is perhaps important to warn that there is a difference between slave and sucker, acolyte and cash cow.
