Romney and Bain helped at least one American tobacco company, and at least one British tobacco company expand their businesses of providing legal products. I will say it again, The Horrors!!

It is debatable if BAT is British or American. It was inititially a joint venture between a British and an American company. My point still stands....... Romneys firm used taxpayers cash to increase their own business.

Man, the real thing is that the whole Solyndra thing could have actually worked IF the Republicans in Congress had passed some actual tariffs in support of American businesses. Solyndra's lunch got eaten by the Chinese, who with their slave labor just make shit so much cheaper. Of course, that's the role of Government to regulate international commerce so that Americans can build and grow their own businesses.

Unless you have proof that Bain used any taxpayer money to work on tobacco's behalf, your argument has no basis.

It's almost like if you found out that the vice Preident of the Southern Baptists owned a chain of liquor stores and a coupla dance halls. It's totally legal but DAYUMMMMM

And, since he was actually using the cigarettes, he wasn't "breaking" any Mormon doctrines. Maybe it's a technicality that he wasn't actually selling them, either. I do see where you're coming from, and acknowledge the questionable activities.
