All my own work. I'm here all week.

What do you think though? I offer these collective nouns as suggestions only.

Actually, I have an issue. Dolphins and whales travel in pods. It can't be a "school" of dolphin.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

Ha! I thought the same thing of the dolphin, but thought I might have been wrong. Glad you spoke first.

I call shenanigans. None of these plurals include apostrophes. Going by what I see on the internet and grocers' signs, surely that can't be correct, right?

the only time I can think of apostrophes in plurals is with numbers, like the 60's, otherwise a apostrpophe is used for possessives as in LP's MacGuffies, or contractions (actually missing letters), wasn't or 'ere me now guv, shut yer bloody gub you 'afwit, 'tis been long e'er I 'eard such rubbish.

There may be other cases, but damned if I can think of them at the mo'.

A rant of Rons.

That would be a powerful grouping, but there can be only one.
