I've been stalked and harassed on this board for several weeks now. It seems like the stalker has a lot of time on their hands, and posts replies to my threads and posts within a short time of me making them. If you read the threads and exchanges, it's very very very very very very x1000 clear that it is not me who initiates the exchanges with the stalker. I complained about it by creating a few tickets with good examples. What takes the cake, is that VideoAdminAlpha response was to suspend ME for "following around users" and making attacks. Again, all one has to do is read the threads, and it's clear, I am usually responding to OP, or different people. And, that the stalker initiates the replies to MY posts, not the other way around. I realize life and this board ain't fair, but this really takes the cake. I mean, it's one thing if it's a he said she said thing. But for fucks sake, anyone with half a brain can simply read the chronology of any thread in question, and see that it was ME who was followed, it was MY post that was replied to by the stalker, not the other fucking way around. Another friend recently stopped posted on this forum for a similar reason (tired of ridiculously unfair moderation). I've been moderator on many boards over many years, and unfortunately, this is how good boards start going downhill. I realize some amount of politics and favoritism is normal human behavior, but when the board starts behaving and treating truth and words like Putin's Russia, it's time to step away for a while. Perhaps I'll be back after my suspension is expired, or, if the moderators have the honor and decency to review their decision and correct their mistake. Considering Putin's Russia, I doubt this rant will see the light of day anyway (they won't let it publish). But hey mods, go ahead and surprise me, and let this post, and let other people give their opinions. So, if you're reading this, feel free to add your own thoughts and opinions. /rant edit ps - I really do appreciate the many emails of support I've received over many months. Believe it or not, I actually had one regular flat out calling me a liar over this, and seeking to have the mods 'prove me a liar' (yeah, that was cordial and didn't violate TOU, not). But please, how about some of the silent lurking majority speaking up this time, would be nice :)

I'm letting this thread to be posted and manually approving it, because truly, we try not to censor items. I realize, OP, that you do not think that I answered your private mail quickly enough about this situation, and I will be answering you on the other side. I would hate for you to think that this post was not approved because 1)it is not an optimistic thread about the moderation or 2) because it mentioned my name personally, so I'm letting it post. Honestly karma, I've noticed you picking fights on more than one occasion. You are generally quick to judge folks and jump to condescension. I don't say this to be rude or side with the mods or anyone else. It's just my personal observation on the responses you've made in the past. I hope you use this as an opportunity.

You take things to much to heart Karmasic, Who cares who said what when, so people probably have had it out for you, I'm sure your right but bullies are only as strong as you let them be... I don't want to keep using school yard analogies but letting people get to you like you have and then complaining how it's all so not fair is really cry baby stuff, the teacher isn't going to be able to protect you in every situation but you can believe that when you react to the bullies goading and escalate it into argument of course they are going to step in and it's not always going to be the instigator who gets in trouble, it's the one swinging the most punches... That there's a clique-ish and mob mentality here can't be argued. People with different ideas are often placed into a "special" category. Once you're in that category, it's like you've chummed the water and the sharks start to circle. Since there are more of them than you, they can "co-ordinate" (whether it's a concerted effort or just a cumulative one) and generate a whole lot of tickets, pointing AT you. Conversely, when you generate a bunch of tickets, pointing at them, the mods tend to think that you are making more work for them and start looking at you with a jaundiced eye. As a holder of minority opinions, my entire life, I have come to understand that the majority will always try to stifle the minority because it's easier and less painful than trying to fully analyze. Since the clique/mob is made up of user ID names that may or may not belong to moderators, and the moderators are anonymous, you can never know for sure if you're being pushed out for personal reasons. Just chalk it up to weaker minds that need to hate that which they fear or can't understand That you, leaving, is going to help anything is doubtful. My staff tries to retain users, not push them away. There is no way for me to prove it, but everyone on the Collarme team are very careful not to moderate on any threads they have posted on, etc. I put that and other guidelines in place when I took the helm of the Collarme team to try to ensure that what previous teams had the perception of doing could not be perceived of my current team.( I did not say previous administrations actually did this, but there was some perception on some users parts that they did). When a user gets a letter from CM moderation staff, when they write either that moderator or myself they get an answer. The moderators try to work with users when they can. When they can't CM moderators refer them to me. When one of my moderators think someone should be put on moderation, I am consulted and have the final say. That is an extra assurance there can be nothing personal involved, because I have no areas that I can see that would be perceived as conflicts of interest. I do not post as a regular user, therefore can not be accused ( accurately) of having opinions that would sway my decision, no matter what areas of the forums are involved. At least I can only hope that is the perception, because it is the utter truth.

Now, I have no idea what happened, I don't follow CM all that well and miss most of the interpersonal train wrecks, but I, for one, shall miss you. I've enjoyed your posts. You speak from the heart and have the guts to jump into the fray, and I like that. You do jump to conclusions and make assumptions that get you into trouble a LOT. That's not so good, but I accept it's you. As Michael said, there can be a pack mentality here. You can't post here if you let it get to you. The ability to let words roll off your back like water off a duck's is very useful. Work on that while you're gone (please), and then come back. You're one of the different people who doesn't think like everyone else. We need you !!
