Huh....How come no conservatives are responding????? I mean their platform is all about banning abortion and taking away women's rights... Some vetting process Willard has, first it's Ryan-Rommey on the budget, so he has to come out and flip flop with his ideals vrs Ryans Now the abortion issue, where ryan wants personhood and helped write the bill, while Willard says abortion Ok in certain cases Willard can't control his own VP pick, how is he suppose to run the country

Yea, that is the problem the GOP is having, in their primaries they get very low voter turn out, so it gives these nut cases a platform they have to address in the general elections..... Gee...guess that is what happens when you cater to one group...just to win a primary

There is now a candidate with a (D) after his name running against Bob Corker this fall who is a member of an Anti-Gay hate group. Low turnout made it possible. This could be the first time in history that a Republican running for Senate is to the idealogical left of the Democratic candidate.

So are you denying that Ryan and he co-sponsored the bill? Find it irrelevant? What? I get not wanting to respond to a bullshit source. However, a little fact checking and I was able to look up a lot of it on my own and verify facts. Many others will, too. What I found is troubling. So, it's likely to be a problem for the Romney ticket for many voters, especially women. Yet, the conservatives are oddly quiet on this thread...

Nope, I don't have a problem with Ryan cosponsoring this bill... 1) He's Catholic, so it shouldn't surprise anyone... and 2) The federal government shouldn't be funding abortions period... There are plenty of private groups willing to fund groups like PP, the government needs to stop wasting money on these social programs, it's not the job of government to coddle citizens from cradle to grave... This isn't Europe.

This is not a STATE'S rights issue. This is a WOMAN'S rights issue. And since they make up approximately 50% of the population, and 50% of the possible voting population, it's a big deal.
