I think the right wing starts to go MAD at the thought of a democratic President for eight (8) years. They hued and cried over Clinton and then impeached him, but then remained silent and defensive through eight years of BUSH Jr. The Republicans know how to be an opposition party, but there's not much recent evidence that they can be a governing, executive party. After botching up the treasury, 2 wars, and the economy, they still garner zealous support.

So how is Roney going to fund these mythical tax cuts, without increasing the deficit ? I seem to recall a former US president saying "Read my lips, no more taxes" Well Mitts, you cant reduce government revenue without replacing the money from somewhere, so whats the secret. Job cuts ? Stealth taxes ? Borrowing ? As an outsider I am surprised people in the US fall for this guff.

Well. folks don't think, it must be around 40 US to get a drivers license renewed, it cost $75 to go to small claims court (judge judy and the like) and another $55 to enforce the judgement, we just end up paying the stuff in fees. Mandate, fee, tax. States, Counties, Townships, and Towns charge more, and it gets worse and worse.

If the government spends less, the tax payers have to pay less... It's simple economics.

It would be, except the conservatives down there in the house have us at a historic level of debt, from borrow and spend policies. So, we have a host of issues, none of which are being addressed by the simpletons. Its so simple you would think any garden variety imbecile or perhaps a conservative or two would get it.

Well, here we have it. They scream smaller government. Ok, he slashes the shit out of the government payrolls. OH, but look at unemployment they beller. So, as usual, they are for it before they are against it, and then they borrow and spend and howl at the moon about taxation (and we are at very low levels all the way round). It is the wolves howling from afar, and nothing more.

Not the lend lease act, nothing in there to lift us out of depression, its like paying off Iraq on steriods, which we aint started on yet. It took Britain a whole lotta time to pay that off starting about 1950 and ending about 2006, that shat foetidly upon their economy for many years. And who saw the money? Not anyone I know.
