Masterlook4sub -> RE: Hypnosis (7/16/2012 2:46:42 PM)

Hi Master Dan,

Here's a link to a great NLP and Hypnosis for seduction coach.

Hypnosis is something that is best left to those that are qualified. If you come up against something unexpected, you won't know how to deal with it.

MasterDan2005 -> RE: Hypnosis (7/16/2012 2:54:34 PM)

^^what she just said^^... hypnosis is best left those who are skilled, trained, and qualified... first and foremost average skilled Joes usually can't implant things into people's psyche'. Secondly, the person has the want the information in their subconscious. They have to be open and receptive to it. It's not like learning a magic trick, it's a science.

Let's also add that using one wrong word can have harmful results. It's the difference between "you will feel happy and sleepy when you go to the dentist" and "you will feel happy and sleepy when you are at the dentist".

There are no seperate certifications for hypnosis based on gender. Classes include both male
and female, young and old, kinky and vanilla, just like any other skill that requires special training.

If what you really mean is you want to learn how to get a submissive to do as you say, then I
suggest you spend alot of time reading in the other forum sections, specifically Ask a Master and
Ask A Submissive. You will find many of your answers there.

What the fuck does this have to do with poly?

GreedyTop -> RE: Hypnosis (7/16/2012 10:15:41 PM)

I was wondering the same thing...

ARIES83 -> RE: Hypnosis (7/17/2012 12:53:39 AM)

Depends how many girls he hypnotises...

MasterDan2005 -> RE: Hypnosis (7/17/2012 1:23:56 AM)

not every thing is about poly

GreedyTop -> RE: Hypnosis (7/17/2012 1:26:11 AM)

Dude.. you posted in the POLY FORUM. If your question doesn't relate to poly (and it certainly doesn't seem to), why post it here and then say "not everything is about poly"?

color me baffled.

JanahX -> RE: Hypnosis (7/17/2012 1:38:14 AM)

I've noticed a Huge increase over the past few days... That a lot of new posters have illiteracy issues. They either can't read, or can't comprehend anything more complex than "Go dog Go".

( I almost said "Hop on Pop"... But....errrrrr...)...come to think about it... "Go dog Go"... Has the errrrrr factor too...
PERVERTS!!!

Actually, that color doesn't look too bad on you!

To the OP...

Personally speaking, and without wishing to imply any judgement on your preferences, I find the idea of seeking out susceptible people and then using hypnotic trickery on them a little bit creepy... I'd rather someone submitted to me because of me rather than some techniques that I'd picked up from some books and a couple of courses.

Although... I've been accused of using NLP techniques myself in the past... although I'm not aware I'm doing it, so over the years I must have picked up some approaches that work better than others for me.

So... hypnosis...

Books are worth reading (do a search on Amazon), but if you're really keen you'll need to read books, take courses, and practice like a bastard. A decent stage hypnotist I know reckons it took him 4 years to become barely competent, and 8 to become an expert.

Illiteracy usually starts with terrible grammar/spelling in the profile and comes over to the forum posts ...

(I haven't had enough coffee yet this morning and I recently quit smoking! No excuse for being a bitch but it's the one that works for me!!)

Yeah, even after you've mentioned Poly, he's not bright enough to realize that he's posted in the wrong forum. Now take that level of intelligence....and put it on someone that what's to hypnotize other people. Frightening isn't?

I took an NLP course in college. It's interesting stuff, but like hypnosis, it's only as effective as the person that you're using it on. I've been told that I tend to do the physical mimicking without realizing I'm doing it.

Exactly. This isn't something that you learn in an afternoon.

DarkSteven -> RE: Hypnosis (7/17/2012 8:05:28 AM)

I have serious concerns about this. I'm fine with a professional hypnotist hypnotizing a willing patient for a specific short term goal, such as quitting smoking. But hypnotizing someone you're in a relationship with is too iffy. Too much chance of the hypnotizer doing something unethical, or being seen as doing such.

But DS, there are all these guys out there that want to make love slaves out of their women, and it's too hard to do it by being a decent person and having good relationship skills. There has got to be a faster, easier shortcut!
