Hello.

I have just joined collarme.com and find it all rather confusing As a middle-aged man who has (a) only recently accepted his need to submit to a Master, and (b) absolutely no experience whatsoever, i'm not sure where to start!

Perhaps what i seek may not be found; however, your welcome would be appreciated, and your adviced gratefully accepted.

Unfortunately, most of the CM members are in the US, so you as a Britisher may feel a bit left out here.

Hopefully, we'll get some UK person weighing in shortly.

Welcome to collarme.

Welcome to the discussion side of CM, elwyn.

I can understand CM being confusing. The meat market side (the profile side) is just that, a meat market. You would have much better chances going to a munch (a BDSM social event which is a meet and greet, no wild sex parties or fetish clothing). The UK has a very active kink scene. (Being kinky has nothing to do with your sexual orientation, so yes, there are gay masters out there. )

My advice is to look to real time events like munches you can attend, and then hang out here on the discussion side to learn about the many aspects of BDSM. Once you learn how to use CM's clunky search feature, you will find myriads of threads on every topic imaginable, or start one of your own!

Best, CP

Thank You CP

You can tell what a newbie i am: i had to google "munch" to find out what it meant!

Your advice is, however, much appreciated.

You're most welcome, elwyn.

You seem to be a real sweetie, polite, respectful, and knowing you have much to learn but willing to do a google search on your own to learn it !!

I vote we keep him !!

Sadly the UK members haven't weighed in (as yet). Or anyone else, for that matter ...

But thanks again for the welcome, and for the encouragement. Exploration should prove interesting!
