I haven't seen Romney's college transcripts either.

Bush never released transcripts that I can remember.

Did McCain release his transcripts from the naval academy?

As Romney likes to say "Whats sauce for goose is sauce for the gander".

And where is Romney's birth certificate?

Obama has been in office for four years, Romney is a nominee... I think this time it would be only fair for Obama to post his transcripts first... In the interest of fairness and all.

Bush

McCain's Naval Records and Birth Certificate

Romney Birth Certificate

So how about a letter to Obama to release his transcripts?

DNC says presidential candidates usually release tax returns but Romney won't

More than one political opponent has attempted to make an issue of Mitt Romney’s personal fortune.

Romney’s years leading the private equity firm Bain Capital — which sometimes made money by laying off workers and closing businesses it had acquired — have led to charges that he is a creature of Wall Street and disconnected from the lives of average Americans.

According to the financial disclosure required of all presidential candidates by the Federal Election Commission, Romney’s personal fortune is between $190 million and $250 million. All presidential aspirants are required to file Office of Government Ethics Form 278 with the Federal Election Commission.

Details about Romney’s wealth are scarce, however, because he is only required to fill out the standard disclosure form about his assets. And unlike some past and present presidential candidates, Romney has not released his income tax returns during this campaign or in previous races for state and federal office.

...

Our Ruling

Of 34 presidential and vice presidential candidates reviewed above, only seven -- Brown, Buchanan, Huckabee, Forbes, Giuliani, Lugar, Nader -- declined to release personal tax returns. So while most follow the practice, not all do. We rate the DNC’s claim Mostly True.

Now you guys are crying for disclosure? Where were the cries 4 years ago?

How about some college transcripts while we're at it?

Frankly it's none of your fucking business how much Romney paid in taxes, 1/2 of Obama's cabinet are tax frauds, and you fucks haven't said a word about it.

Everybody disclosed everything required by law 4 years ago.

It is very much our business how much fucking money Romney made and paid.   Hit a little more night school and skip a couple dougnuts, its been on the books since 73.  Ask Sanity if that isn't so.

I don't give a fuck if he recieves 100% of ALL electoral votes, he doesn't release those and he cannot be president, by law.

Is Romney the official Nominee yet? Did the GOP throw a convention and nobody was invited?

The people whining about Romeny's disclosures, and McStain's, and Bush's... Shall I continue?

So erie, are you gonna write that letter to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave now? I gave you what you asked for, how about a little reciprocity?

That Politifact article was written in December. Politically, it isn't even relevant any more, because since it was written Mitt Romney has released his tax returns from 2010 and his estimated tax return for 2011..., which means he has fulfilled the obligations of tradition.

Besides, the Federal Election Commission financial paperwork candidates are required to file by law is more informative than a tax return.

I want to know what rob is hiding--I've never seen his tax returns or transcripts or birth certificate either.

Who knows who he's really working for, or what evil foreign government or corporation he serves!!!

Tsk tsk. Typical avoidance. Wonder what he's hiding???

Probably a string of illegals connect to him. Terrorists too, I'll bet. Maybe some drug rings.

This is proof!!!

Romney - a typical Republican asshole...

From SadistDaves link:

quote:

First, as a successful businessman, Governor Romney has not only added value to our economy through his investment and business activity, but he has paid millions in taxes every year to the U.S. government.

Second, the Romneys take to heart “to whom much is given, of him shall much be required.” Accordingly, they have been extraordinarily generous in their charitable giving, donating over $7 million from 2010-2011, averaging over 16% of their income.

Third, Mitt Romney has been scrupulous about observing the requirements of the tax code. His income is reported and taxed in full compliance with U.S. law, and he has paid 100 percent of what he has owed. His good name means everything to him. Throughout his life in this and in other matters, he has conducted his personal and business affairs so as to be beyond reproach.

Governor Romney is proud of his success and of the accomplishments that created value for society as a whole and contributed to the generation of more than 100,000 jobs.

Obama on the other hand, like the perfect little leftist angel that he is, wrote in his autobiography "Dreams of My Father" that he felt he was a spy behind enemy lines while working at the only private sector job he had ever held

We have to elect Romney President first, then ask to see his tax-returns etc., etc.

If that's a fair comparison, then we can also assume that any tax returns pisspants produces are forgeries, no matter how often he trots them out and how many people vouch for them.

"The president and his wife, Michelle Obama, reported adjusted gross income of $789,674 in 2011, and paid just over 20 percent of it in federal taxes, according to income tax returns and gift-tax returns released by the White House on Friday. The White House confirmed that Mr. Obama’s secretary, Anita Decker Breckenridge, paid a “slightly higher” tax rate than her boss in 2011, on a salary of $95,000."

The Obama campaign — which posted Mr. Obama’s tax return on its Web site along with his previous 10 returns — assailed Mr. Romney for his refusal to disclose more about his taxes. The campaign has also drawn attention to the tax rates paid by Mr. Romney and his wife, Ann, who derive the bulk of their income from investments, which is taxed at a lower rate than wage income.

“On the eve of April 17th, Governor Romney has yet to provide tax returns from the period in which he made hundreds of millions as a corporate buyout specialist,” the Obama campaign manager, Jim Messina, said in a statement. “Mitt Romney’s defiance of decades of precedent set by presidential candidates on both sides of the aisle, including his own father, begs the question — what does he have to hide?”

Late on Friday, Mr. Romney’s campaign announced that he had filed with the Internal Revenue Service for a six-month extension to file his 2011 return. Andrea Saul, a spokeswoman, said Mr. Romney would file his return “sometime in the next six months, and prior to the election.” It will be filed, she said, when “there is sufficient information to provide an accurate return.”

In January, under pressure from his Republican rivals, Mr. Romney released documents estimating that he had earned $20.9 million in 2011 and paid about $3.2 million in taxes, for an effective tax rate of about 15.4 percent. On a form requesting the extension, he estimated his taxes to be $3,226,623.

Then we can indeed also assume that. So? It won't matter AFTER he's elected just like all the forgeries Obummer has trotted out haven't mattered.

On top of that of course, after Romney is elected he can use executive fiat to ignore/uphold whatever law(s) he wants...just like Obummer.

You appear to be mistaking teh Kenyan for teh Chimp: it was your boy shrub using his veto and fiat the way a male porn lead uses a fluffer. That's why you have a huge deficit rather than a single payer healthcare plan.
