mistresshourglas -> STEALING IMAGES (6/11/2012 1:36:32 PM)

Hi everyone,

I wonder if anyone can give me some help.

It was brought to my attention a while ago that an individual on here had stolen a picture of me with my slave and put it on their profile. This image included a face shot of me and after the fuss I made it was removed and that profile was deleted.

This time, this same individual has returned to this website. They have a new profile now and have another image of mine, all under copyright....... stolen from my professional website http://dominatrixmistresshourglass.co.uk/galleries/under-stilettos/. Because it does not include my face this time (in the image) it seems to be more tricky in having it removed and to date it is still up on their profile.

These photos I had done do not come cheap. Besides this individual breaking the law by stealing my images (copyright theft) I had to pay £££££ for them and resent someone just coming along and lifting them. I also resent people pretending to be me........ like this individual has been doing, on here....... as well as using a variety of my other professional images on alt.com and also yahoo messenger.

Thank you for any help/suggestions you can give me:)

Mistress Hourglass

If you click on report photos, there's a process posted on how to get them removed.

Sadly, the cynic in me wonders if this is just a way to get advertising for her website. Gawd I am a jaded old broad sometimes.

fr-

sorry to hear this. if you want to take it to the next level, use this web site's form to create a formal copyright complaint, compel this site to give you his IP address with barrister letter, then compel his ISP to give you his address with barrister letter, then send him barrister letter. i'm sure he'll stop after that.

oooh, purple lady gave me an idea...maybe she meant this too, but you can do it yourself. put a water-mark across your pics. it can be very light and unobtrusive, but enough to stop most people from going through the trouble of defeating it (Photoshopping it out).

Welcome to the discussion side of CM.

Talk to whoever does your website for you. There are things you can do to keep most people from being able to steal your pics. However, anyone with the knowledge and the right software can do it, no matter what you do.

I tend to take a life is too short view of this kind of thing.

1) You can use the form below to upload a picture of yourself holding up a piece of paper with the words "STOLEN PHOTOS" written on it. We must be able to clearly see your face for the purpose of comparison. This is the simplest and easiest way to verify your identity.

On the first occasion, when my mug shot was in the photo..... I did the above and the image was removed from their profile. But this time, my face is not in the shot in the 2nd photo stolen.

I don't know what "it seems to be more tricky" means. Is this your judgement or CM's? Have you gone through the process already? If not, why? If so, when and what was the result?

I don't understand the bolded.

Well the link to it was certainly gratuitous to the issue so I can't say as I blame you.

mistresshourglas -> RE: STEALING IMAGES (6/11/2012 2:06:58 PM)

yes....... in my opinion you are a 'jaded old broad'.

The reason I put up a link to my website is to prove that the photo stolen is mine, I'm not making it up.

I pay for advertising, using professional mistress sites here in the UK. I have no need to come on here and 'flog my wares'. I had a genuine concern and that is why I posted my query. As it is, myself and my colleagues do not need to lurk around collarme looking for clients, though some of my work friends like to socialise here, and good for them!

Lockit -> RE: STEALING IMAGES (6/11/2012 2:08:59 PM)

How do you know its the same person and they are doing it at other sites?

You need not prove anything to the rabble here. Make your case to Support.

Well, this jaded old broad gave ya a link to help you fix ya problem, so I would imagine you have used it already and would also like to thank me for my being ever so helpful, right?

edit cause I decided helpfulness aint really a werd.

LadyPact -> RE: STEALING IMAGES (6/11/2012 2:13:18 PM)

I wouldn't think the fact that your face isn't on the stolen pic should  be an issue.  When you send the verification photo, wear the same costume as the one in the stolen pic.  You just need to work with Support on the issue.

Edited for a double negative that changed the message of the post.

mistresshourglas -> RE: STEALING IMAGES (6/11/2012 2:15:26 PM)

I am not aware of a facility on here to report photos that have been stolen, that do not include the face. Please, if I am wrong, enlighten me and point me in the right direction, I would appreciate that.

An image that included my face was reported...... and removed.

The latest image that does not show my face was reported..... many times, and not removed.

It may surprise some of you reading this but, myself and a good many of my colleagues do not need to hang out on collarme to find business. I have enough clients, and from what my work friends tell me...... they have more than enough. Seems to me that those sort of comments say more about you than me!

Unless he is from Russia then you'll have to compel Putin to give a toss.

That is very helpful, thank you LadyPact.

You are welcome.  I'm sorry that I'm not able to give appropriate advice for other sites.  I do hope that it works out for you.

As a pro-domme I always feel I am being judged, but you are right I don't need to prove anything, nor justify myself. Thanx merge9.
