I was thinking about something. When the Mod who dropped you a note to tell you that the post was being moved/removed, did you write that person back and ask? Something in My head keeps saying that mentioning who the person was for your Positive Experience thread used to be in there.

no, i never wrote back, because i didn't care that much, and to do so would entail making the mod spend more time on something i didn't care much about.

not sure i follow the bolded portion quoted above. i don't think i ever named the person, as in an earlier draft or something. i suppose i could have named the person to the mod if i cared to try and reverse it.

oh, i get it now, you were referring to it used to be in the rules before. they probably took it out for liability reasons (speculation of course), but enforce as an unwritten rule, but obviously not consistently.

Yeah, I worded that one poorly.

Some of the rules have changed around a bit, at least over the years. That might have been the hang up.
