What are you talking about? I'm talking about the U.S.

In New York specifically, Obama's already won the election, and by at least 20 points.

Oh, sorry I just assume that when someone is talking about presidential elections with another American, and they use "here", it's sort of a reasonable presumption they are speaking in regional terms.
And yeah, I'm pretty well aware of the projections for the northeast.

Musicmystery -> RE: Obama Wins Kentucky Dem Primary - Big! (5/23/2012 3:47:01 PM)

I didn't use "here." You read it anyway.

~FR~

Looks like it'll be Obama going up against Ron Paul in November. Which is great, because Obama has trouble beating Ron Paul in hypothetical head to head polling. He kicks Romney's ass every time, though.

Musicmystery -> RE: Obama Wins Kentucky Dem Primary - Big! (5/23/2012 3:52:49 PM)

Ron Paul only exists in hypothetical situations.

What are you smoking? Can you take a cellphone picture of the plant matter and post it here so we can have a look?

You did, but it was starting a sentence where you you typed in "independents" and I now understand that you meant "Here" refer to independents.

I think that "independents" being lower case cause me to discount it somehow, I apologize.
Been a tough day... I have spent the WHOLE middle of the day arguing in front of a senate candidate why despite the new volunteer coordinator's insightful testimony (how many fucking times do you throw "I used to admin a linux server' in an effort to justify a horrible idea?)... arguing that a US Senate Campaign SHOULDN'T Maintain it's internal calendar on Google Calendar.
Anyway, my bad.

...small infrequent moments of perceived joy/comfort

Like when Baroccoli O’Fuckup FARTS (i.e., babbles) and the idiotic Left fall all over themselves (e.g., Chris “Drooling-Thrill-Up-My-Leg” Matthews), in a fevered attempt to sneak the smallest wiff -- savoring every aromatic, moronic morsel?!!

[:D] JOY!!!

Aside from having bigger ears and being more artculat how exactly does the current president differ from the previous one?
Are we still in gitmo?
Are we still in the sand box?
Same shit different flys

Historically, the majority of undecides swing toward the challenger, the incumbent's record having been well established.

Would you happen to have any validation for this ...otherwise it is just insipid tripe

He won 57.9% of the vote in the Democrat only primary here.

Of course, his opponent was "anyone but Obama", who got all the rest of the vote. [8D]

Sorry...misread...I thought you'd said Obama won the Kentucky Derby.

(My error).

My first thought when I read this was "Do they even HAVE Democrats in Kentucky?"
There's like 12 of em right?

From 2008, the last Prez election.

Kentucky is "solid Democratic".

Then what does your reasoning say about Willard????

I did not vote in the primary, no reason to. We have our pick, look at how poorly Willard did against people on book tours.

The vote is in Nov, and pollsters can make anyone look good or bad, well at least that is what 53% of them say

Who is "Willard"?

What do you mean "pollsters can make anyone look good or bad"? The thread and article is about the STATE DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY. In which the incumbent is running, and in which the most dedicated party members go to register "something" other than choosing between two differing party candidates, because there isn't two or more party candidates to choose from.

The fact that a third of those dedicated party members show up, just to vote "anyone but the incumbent" can be interpreted only one way, by any reasonable person.

State of the States: Political Party Affiliation

Pay attention, MM.

Hill said he wasn't aware of many Democrats in Kentucky. My graphic addresses that. Yours doesn't. You are on a different subject.

Then why are you using 2008 data?

Because the party affiliation is still about the same? [8|]
