Stalin, speaking about something pretty much related, summed it up this way: The people who cast the votes don't decide an election, the people who count the votes do.

In short, it's highly unlikely that if you put two people from "opposing countries" in the same room they would immediately join in battle. People are smart enough to understand the realities of war. Only Governments struggle with the same question.

This photo, of Israeli children writing messages on missiles might be the reality that Ashjor could be referring to. The word "love" is clearly visible .... hard to know what kind of love one sends via a missile. Perhaps TheHeretic could advise us.




Given TH's interest in the various versions of reality in the Middle East being promoted by various media, I wonder if TH's sources of information reported anything about this anti-Arab race riot by Israelis?

Unfortunately, Stalin was right. The US only has to look back as far as 2000 to see the same.

But back to individual people's wishes - I think it's a step in the right direction. It IS too much to expect that a people as a whole turn the other cheek.

Even when they're pushing themselves as the only sane and reasonable republican system in a sea of psychopathic theocracies who think it's still the fourteenth century?
I'd suspect the whole "occupying seized land" thing is more of an object to that one, to be honest.

Peace will follow victory, when there either is no such place as Isreal anymore, or when none of their neighbors will be willing to fuck them for 100 years or more.

in case you did not know, US sold Israel "52" nuclear warheads over 6 decades.
