To the OP, sorry you had that kind of experience. My personal opinion is that doctors get away with murder, thanks to the power of the world's bigges union, the AMA. Nurses do most of the work, doctors get the glory. My own personal horror story with a dr. involved a pre-surgical consult. In my prior life I worked by appointment and managed a client base of over 300, so scheduling was important to me. No see clients, no get paid. The doctor kept me waiting for 2 1/2 hours (honest) before seeing me. If I left, the surgery got postponed. When she finally got there, I cussed her out but good for making me wait like that. After giving me some back, she got the last word when she told me to drop my pants... Believe me, once I recalled the general area that she would be cutting in, I apologized but quick. Talk about total power exchange.

I often wonder if people realize in America it takes 8 years or more to become a liscensed Dr. ..... in India it takes 3 -4 years and a good donation to a medical school ... who do you really want examining you now. gimme the American Drs any day

Well for myself, I am banned from two doctors offices after I tore them new assholes over the care of my first girl. She is disabled now and has major medical issues. The docs just do not give a damn. They know her insurance only covers thier offices, so they treat her like she is less then human. We have been fighting this now over five years and have been told by attys that we do not have grounds to sue. We have to find new doctors but no one will take her insurance now. Same goes for medicare more and more .We feel your pain more and more, the wealthy can do what ever they want , the middle class and poor are left to deal with this crap. Do not get me start with workmans comp, I could go on forever on how and what they do to people to save a buck.So much for fair and equitable treatment.
