well therapy was interesting i met with a new dr today and had a fight with him, he hurt me so bad, He was checking over me and was rougher then most but hey i like it rough, but he kept grabbing my elbow which is one of the parts of my body that is hurting most from the accident. He was checking my neck but using my elbow to lift, i asked him not to touch the elbow like that, by the third time , my head spun around like the exorcist. next thing you know I screamed that i if he touched me a again id punch him in his f***ing face...........then he snapped at me, and was yelling at this point i was screaming that maybe in his country it was ok to talk to his wife like that but in this country it could get him a fat lip and if he didnt get the fuck out of the room i would have him under investigation by the medical board by the end of next week, needless to say the other dr came running in along with more then half the office to calm me down. and i dont think I'll be seeing him again. I mean by the time the other Dr had come in who has worked with me 3 times since the accident came in i was in hysterics to the point i could barely talk, which i think surprised him because he out and out said he could see I have a very high tolerance to pain, I mean damn after the accident i didnt cry like that. this DR really aggrivated everything all over again plus got my blood boiling!

Aww spank I am so sorry, I've had rough dr's too. I have a fatty tumor on my arm and one dr was pinching it to examin it then saying does the tumor hurt and I was thinking well now it does. And she was telling me to get off ssi get a job move out of mom and dad's place quit sucking off them and make something of yourself which isn't your dr's place to say or do.


and by the way my parents don't feel that I am sucking off them at all I am totaly welcome to live in the house as long as I wish to.

And one time a gynocologist shoved the speculum in and opend it in a very abrupt mannor and left me hurting vaginally for about 20 to 30 mins, neither times I said anything though.

Some medical professionals have a terrible bedside manner, I know.

Thank you guys. It all just sucks cause I feel worse today then I have since after the accident, every inch of me hurts and I don't have one bruise on my body. Wouldnt mind being sore if it was for fun lol...but this just sucks

I had gone for an "independent" medical eval- as orderred by the judge. To "prove" range of motion, I was twisted, herniating 2 more disks. The pain later that night was so bad- I was screaming in my mind. Went to ER was injected with steriod and dope. It did little to stop the pain.

If this has anything to do with worker comp- they purposely fuck up people.

In fact- if it is connected to any litigation, it happens ALOT.

These DRs cant even be sued or repimanded, since such an exam was ordered by a judge.

If I did it all over again, I would have paid a nurse to be in there with me.

The kicker is this guy had no guilt what-so-ever!  Well the MRI doesnt lie.

I hope he lives the pain levels I do- for a few years!  PAIN from HELL!

It isn't unusual, a lot of doctors are great guys, but there are also a lot of mightier then thou I know what is best assholes, kinda like cops lol.

When my grandfather was in the ICU before he died I got into two serious arguments with the staff cause they were assholes.  It got to the point on one of them they were ready to throw me out of the hospital. 

The first one was some idiot that was sent to take blood.  Now up until I was actually in the room with this guy we had no idea why my grandfathers hand was being injured and swelling up like a balloon.  This moron was leaning on the bed rail catching my grandfathers hand between it and the bed crushing it.  Three times I warned him, once when he came in the room to watch the hand, and the other two when he both crushed it and then lifted the hand up and jerked it looking for a vain on the arm to use for blood.  The fourth time he again leaned on the bed rail and I told him to get out. 

Second was a stuck up bitch of a nurse trying to explain to the unknowing "kid" how she knew what was best to make him comfortable.

Some doctors are great, some are total assholes who don't give a damn how bad they hurt you cause they think they know best.

I usually begin anytime with a new ~professional~ and tell them IF you see
my knuckles go white I would suggest you move very very quickly cause
I'll be about to swing and my aim is very good.  I've yet had one misunderstand
my meaning.  ..........  And one other tactic that always has worked is while
they are washing their hand once through with you but you still have questions to
ask manuver yourself over to the door way and block it.  It's never failed to
get my questions answered before they slip off to never never doctor land.
Grrrrrrrrr, if you cant tell i'm not fond of the Medical Community.

Personally, there was no litigation i enjoyed more than suing MD's and PhD's.  He, he.
 
i was rather badly mistreated at a hospital and complained to every Agency i could conjure up -- and believe me, i put some backbone into this -- about the hospital generally and the MDs in particular.  Every single Agency said "not our area".
 
Unfortunately i couldn't sue for legal reasons.
 
i  think you should see a personal injury lawyer, miss, as well as a new MD (ya think?).

Master has a reputation for being a "troublemaker", because He stands up for Himself rather than let the doctors and nurses do things that He knows will make Him worse. His sugar levels end up going from sky high to down in His boots, they want to give Him oral pain meds when they've been told they upset His tummy, they endlessly have to be told to use a manual BP monitor because the automatic ones don't work for Him (He has a regular/irregular heartbeat). We even came across a "nurse" who doesn't know how to take a manual BP.....hell I am not even qualified but I know how to do it and it only took me a couple of lessons! [8|]

I have spent more time in doctor's offices the last 3 years than I did when I was pregnant, but I have lucked out, the nurse practitioners and doctors and nurses have always been kind and not aggressive. Now that I have said that, Monday will prove me wrong {I hope not, I hope not, or I will back out of my procedure}. I have had injections in more than half a dozen places, been poked and proded, and all sorts of other stuff, which in a M/s context would be sub-space material, but, in this medicinal context, NOT fun. I hope thigns get better for those of you who have had bad expereinces, maybe it's coz I have spent so much time that I am kinda use to different bed-side manners, or that I have lucked out and had great medical professionals to be under the care of.

Be careful if they are steroidal injections. I had a Dr- over inject me. He billed $964 each time. 3 in a year or life is max- I foget which. I had 31.

31. not a typo. I became rage filled- it was a trip. [in the bad sense]

I lost 1 or 2 friends over it.

He got very angry when I refused the last shot. [I quickly snuck out as he was loading the needle]

To yell at him like that was a good thing. Though I'm not sure what happened to your elbow, an assesment is always needed. Getting you to sreem like that meant that you were in PAIN. Him snapping back at you like that was un called for. So he found what hurts. Do the ex-ray, take some pain meds, and off ya go if nothing requires surgery.

I was in a car accident and yes i know my elbow would be looked at, but at the time he was checking my back and neck and using the elbow to lift my arm, i explained the elbow was one of the sorest parts and to please not use my elbow, he did it again and at that point i pulled away from him and said I asked you not to touch my elbow like that, by the third time i snapped, i honestly dont know if he understood me and if thats the case, get the hell out of this country, yes maybe cause for another thread but dont get me started on foreigners that cant understand ENGLISH!

As in all professions..you have your good,bad and ugly...sometimes you have personality conflicts..sometimes misunderstandings..obviously whichever the case..you definitely need a new MD...for any trust that was possible is now an impossibility....I hope you get better soon ,best wishes for your recovery..Tempting

I find personally that if you warn the Dr's upfront that physical harm may come to them if they bring it to you has helped me out several times ... except for this one lil chinese Dr when I contracted a virus years ago that left me sensitive to light and a massive migraine . he decided to be stupid and shinea little light in my eyes .. well needless to say 3 nurses and 4 security guards later they were able to pry my fingers off his throat and calm me back down .. so much for all the demerol and morphine I was given . I know your pain spankmuhbutt I been there before . it is not fun at all. and hell I wouldn't mind being in the line with MsMacComb either  on spanking that nice ass .. lol . or is that a bad compliment to give at this point. <shrugs>
you need to make it very evident when you go back there that ... that Dr will never be allowed to see you for a visit again. IT is your right as a patient
