You are not alone, Velvet... And you are doing a good thing by talking about it with O/others. I found a lot of comfort in doing so when my Master released me. I did not call Him "Daddy" (because I have daddy issues), but yes, He was very Fatherly and that is something which I need, as well. So many people in "the lifestyle" were kind enough to listen to my tale of woe, and that helped. Their best advice was, that "you will feel better as time passes." It has been three years, and although I still miss Master, unless I dwell on thoughts of Him (He is always on my mind), I finally feel "less lost". It probably would not have taken so long if I could have followed their other bit of advice and "found" another Master. But that is how I am wired--I'm a "one man woman" and a "one Master slave". Then, again, perhaps I might have been more inclined to seek another Master if I were younger. But you are younger, and you probably should do that, seek another Daddy. At any rate...give yourself a little time to sort your heart and mind out...discover what you really want...take care of yourself--eat correctly for your body type, drink plenty of water, get some fresh air, sunshine, and exercise...that may help you to sleep better. Thinking of you...holding you in my heart and hoping the best for you. You are stronger than you know...
