Status: offline 		Well he was a member of the klan a short while.   I believe Strom Thurmond raped a 15 year old black girl and had a baby by her, and that was longer than a short while.

But one does not excuse the other.   Nor does ones past foibles guarentee foibles of the same genre in the future.  (and of course that should go without saying that someone who continues on with fucking idiocy throughout does not meet conditions for forgiveness and renewed trust)

Status: offline 		It's okay to "make mistakes" regarding race relations if you're a progressive or liberal, but it isn't okay if you're a libertarian or conservative.

Harry Reid said something to the degree of "Obama is not like a typical negro" or something like that. No one said a thing about it.

Status: offline 		Oddly, the patch article lucy linked to, states that Jones is running in the primary against Jim Falvey and Richard Grabowski while the Chicagonow article stef linked to, only mentions Grabowski. Falvey himself seems to think he's running.

Grabowski's site is awful.

That link, which implicitly asserts that Ron Paul is a white nationalist, is exactly what I'm talking about. Anyone deviating from the progressive creed is a racist/facist/neo-nazi/white nationalist. But when democrats or liberals do it, it's just "move along, nothing to see here folks."

Actually, nationalists (of all stripes) have more in common with the leftists/libertarians than most think. There have been times when white nationalists and black nationalists, who have a lot in common, work together and declare to war on things that like they both hate (the Jews for example). Ah, the beauty of races working together to destroy other races.

I won't really comment on the Libertarians since I DON'T GIVE A FUCK-ALL what they think. Last Libertarian to be worth jack shit to this country probably didn't outlive Lincoln by much.
