Status: offline 		Hey everyone. So call me a novice. Call me a newb. Call me clueless and lost. I have been wanting to get more involved in bdsm community, activity, and hopefully a relationship for a while now. The only problem is, I have NO idea how to start! I'm in Southern California. There seems to be a pretty active scene here, but the only "real" connections I've made have been with pro dommes. I don't want that. I can't afford that. So what do I do? Where do I go?

I'd love to hear not only suggestions from some of you, but also some experiences. How were you personally introduced to bdsm and what led you there?

How do you meet potential vanilla people? Go out to where they are...you're in SoCal, a mecca of opportunity..have you looked on Fet for munches near you?
Do lots and lots of reading..you have a wealth of information right here on CM. Make heavy use of the search button ;)
