He has no spine, its as if he is made of jello.

Sanity, every single voter, hardcore leftist or no, has basically three choices: Obama, the GOP nominee, or not voting (including throwing away the vote on a third party candidate).

If in fact the leftists don't like Obama, the worst damage they can do to him would be to not vote. They're not gonna vote for Romney/Gingrich/whomever the GOP fields.

Bashing Obama overlooks the fact that his opponent needs to garner more electoral votes than Obama does. It's still a referendum on Obama, but it's also one on his challenger.
