Status: offline 		Stupid post about people not understanding their own polls. ADD UP the GOP candidates (hint: there will only be one), and its 56:44 GOP candidate. Thats a huge margin for an incumbent to be behind. Will some who said one of the GOPers defect if it isnt the one they voted for? Yup, but not very many.

How do you add up 16 and 15 and arrive at 56?

More Republican Math?

16 + 15 = 31. Always has. Always will.

44:31 Obama leads "The Republican Pack" by 13%. Even after factoring in the 3% margins, you're still looking Obama beating the Old White Guys by 5%....

Status: offline 		I think he was conflating that if obama is only generating 44% then the repubs must be on track for 56..using ALL candidatesnumbers, which is why I called BS on it, and why the other one seems to think he is being funny and smrt(homer style)

Status: offline 		Funny that FOX News doesnt bother to EXPLAIN how those numbers were GENERATED. In a three way race between Mr. Obama, Mr. Gingrich and Mr. Romney, Mr. Obama wins. However, Mr. Gingrich and Mr. Romney are competing for the same nomination (the GOP ticket). Assuming no one runs under the third party ticket from the Paul and/or Tea Party camp, Mr. Obama beats out either candidates 3:1. What FOX News fails to mention (gosh I wonder why....) is that the President only needs to convince another 8-11% of registered voters to vote for him. Where as either Mr. Gingrich or Mr. Romney need about 34-39% of voters. The odds are even more against the GOP given their low standing in Congress and that the majority of Americans in several polls believe Republicans have created much of the economic disaster the country is currently enduring. In the end, voters will be much more disgusted with Republicans with their petty games and vote Democrat.

Its without a doubt, that Mr. Obama can ace either candidate in a general election. He'll appeal to the more sane types in our country. Where as the more insane the GOP candidate becomes (in order to appeal to conservatives) the less likely moderates will be to vote in his favor. The most amusing part of this is the question of what the religious nuts in the GOP will vote for: An adulter that lied to America.....OR....a Mormon (aka false-Christian). It'll be an amusing circus right up and including the nomination hour.
