I dont believe either is "more" popular... anymore than the DNC is more popular than the RNC. They are just made up of people with differing ideas.

Of course he uses an outdated poll from before people knew anything about OWS and before it turned violent. Try some recent numbers:

The Occupy Wall Street movement is not wearing well with voters across the country. Only 33% now say that they are supportive of its goals, compared to 45% who say they oppose them. That represents an 11 point shift in the wrong direction for the movement’s support compared to a month ago when 35% of voters said they supported it and 36% were opposed. Most notably independents have gone from supporting Occupy Wall Street’s goals 39/34, to opposing them 34/42.

Voters don’t care for the Tea Party either, with 42% saying they support its goals to 45% opposed. But asked whether they have a higher opinion of the Tea Party or Occupy Wall Street movement the Tea Party wins out 43-37, representing a flip from last month when Occupy Wall Street won out 40-37 on that question. Again the movement with independents is notable- from preferring Occupy Wall Street 43-34, to siding with the Tea Party 44-40.

That was interesting Willbeur, but are you ever going to learn to cite your sources?

Because I would like to read it firsthand.

Google is your friend.

I know it is, I make use of it frequently to cite sources for things I post.

Unfortunately, you somehow feel it is the reader's obligation rather than the writer to verify what you say.

That's not how it works.

An edge they have lost in the month it took for average folks to realize 1) people who can camp out 24/7 don't represent them either, 2) drum beaters and chanters are better suited for the 1950's Saturday afternoon AMC matinee than economic advisers, 3) Occupy folks aren't above manufacturing 'outrage' and 4) OWS'ers have no clue where they're going. They're just wandering around being unhappy.

Are you claiming that every OWS person is a far left Obama supporter now

I mean, really, whats the point? verumserum is half reporting facts and making up some as they go along.

Looking at some of those pictures it's pretty clear that many ows people are not Obama supporters.

Republican National Convention Crooks Charter revealed: Secret AIG insurance policy covers up criminal government operations, gags victims, plus the secret AIG PATROL! Submitted by Twin Cities Ind... on Thu, 05/20/2010 - 22:38

A grim Iron Triangle of insurance lawyers, a huge $10 million AIG liability policy, and state and local courts have conspired to make a dense coverup "shell" for the illegal police and government official operations during the 2008 Republican National Convention. The City of Minneapolis has settled several cases recently but winning plaintiffs haven't spoken up on the state crimes, indicating they are likely gagged somehow. Revealed here: the disturbing coverup engine itself, the insurance policy between the Twin Cities, the failed AIG corporate crime complex, and the RNC Host Committee (Committee On Arrangements). Under this contract, the cities are obliged to keep covering up what really happened from their citizens, and they even gained access to a secret, little known Web portal called AIG PATROL!

http://twincities.indymedia.org/2010/may/republican-national-convention-crooks-charter-revealed-secret-aig-insurance-policy-covers-c

The City of Minneapolis has recently settled numerous lawsuit claims from the Sept. 3 2008 Rage Against the Machine illegal mass arrests downtown, but mysteriously no winning lawsuit plaintiff has yet spoken out about the insurance payout going to cover the state crimes they were subjected to. The only likely conclusion is that the winning plaintiffs must somehow be gagged or censored. Authoritarian corporatist spin control strikes again.

short memory eh

If it doesnt work for you, feel free to ignore. It is you and the View girls who make it a worthless exercise to post links, so if something interests you it would take you less time to find it then it did to tell me "how it works".

Its also clear not every person in that camp is an OWS supporter. Read up on the TWO camps in that city.

But its nice that you acknowledge that not everyone there is a supporter of Obama. Its about time someone besides me saw that. Makes the point sanity keeps harping on about how OWS supporting Obama moot.

No it doesnt, most of them are obviously made up of the Obama faithful

Its a source of mirth to watch you and others here straddle the fence on that (depending on what you are trying to argue at any given moment), too.

Is it any surprise OWS are more popular than the teabaggers?
At this point chlamydia is more popular than the teabaggers...

But do carry on bleating about how the OWS lot are in teh Kenyan's pocket. Perhaps you can start another thread braying about them heckling him at a meet and greet to prove the point...
