"The quote came from Newt Gingrich, who condemned the very idea of a secular state. "A country that has been now since 1963 relentlessly in the courts driving God out of public life shouldn't be surprised at all the problems we have," the thrice-married, serial adulterer said. "Because we've in fact attempted to create a secular country, which I think is frankly a nightmare."

His "problems" have more to do with his little-head and not secularism.

He says that the politicians ("we") have attempted (not succeeded) to make America a nightmare.

I am, by all means, no sympathizer of  Newt Gingrich, but changing his words to attack him is dirty and unacceptable.

Would 'sordid history' include things like associating with convicted terrorists, or calling a hateful racist preacher man who preached "god damn America" your spiritual advisor?

And does a sordid history really matter to people...

So the presidents friends bombed America, Michelle stated that she wasnt proud of America before Obama was elected, his spiritual advisor preached racial hatred and hate for America...

And Newt Gingrich is being accused of what exactly
