I honestly don't remember... I live one block from a place where if I use the right bait and angling technique, I can catch lobster whenever I wish. Course there's the small matter of the lobster license, which keeps me from  doing that on a regular basis.

I think though that lobster was kind of cheap back in the early 80s , cept during tourist season.
It's funny, since so many fishermen donate to the food pantry, I hear tell that it's not unusual to get a bag with a 1/2 dozen flash frozen lobster tails at the food pantry.
   That's the way it should be though.

Don't feel bad... My best friend was through here the other day on his way to Maine from RI... He does a big cod trip every fall out on some fairly horrific waters. I missed the Tuna season for the second year in a row... and he came with about 10 pounds of steaks (tuna) and pictures of a 781 lb Giant bluefin he caught on 40 miles from my door... I felt like having my son go down to the state pier and let his lines off.
  Course ... now I can have tuna salad THE RIGHT WAY.

Status: offline 		Normally I would say it should be up to the parents to make sure their kids eat healthy, but in your case I am making an exception. The idea of you being in charge of any child is scarier than hell. Maybe the government should step in.

Tomato paste is TOO a vegetable! In fact I used that reasoning last night. I fixed chicken tikka masala and I completely forgot to fix a side veggie until two minutes before dinner was ready. My comment was, "Well, there is tomato in it. And onion. So it counts as a vegetable."

It is not the school lunches making kids fat. It is the lack of activity. Add to that the amount of the food that gets thrown away, I am not sure that taking pizza of the lunch menu is going to have any benefits.

So you want government to step in because of Profits before children's health? Why do you hate capitalism? Congress did the right thing by being Capitalistic, Profits before Children.

So you are for more Government intrusion in our lives? What kind of progressive liberal jobless hippy are you? Congress should NOT be interfering with our lives. LESS GOVERNMENT IS ALWAYS better government. Start listening to Conservative Radio more.

Right its the lack of activity. Then why do you propose a bill that schools need treadmill in classrooms for each student. That way they can be walking instead of siting on their fat ass learning liberal education. Obesity is caused ONLY by a lack of exercise, its not a 2 part system like those liberals want you to believe. Food Intake has NOTHING to do with getting fat, ask Rush Limbaugh. No one EVER gets thin from NOT eating or watching their DIET. When will the liberals lies stop.

Status: offline 		We serve whole grain pizza's that are so expensive I couldn't afford to buy them for my self.  The fries we serve are baked in the oven.  Fresh veggies and fruit, great salad choices daily and fruit based desserts most days.

Michelle Obama has done amazing things for the nutritional and the physical fitness parts of education for our children.  That is not a failure.

Ah hell mods, can I get a grouchylunchlady to replace my deranged?  I am so sick of the fucking child nutrition program getting constant grief.

Ahh boo hoo. Cry me a river you cant afford gourmet pizza. Its your OWN DAMN Fault you are poor and cant afford healthy food. Its called CAPITALISM learn to love it or go join socialist China. Overweight kids are NOT a problem, having HEALTHY KIDS is a problem because it WILL AFFECT PROFITS and JOBS. It time kids sacrificed something instead of sponging off of society like the leeches they are.
