ORIGINAL: HannahLynHeather its because i find you not worthy of being taken seriously. that's all. That is why you fired off your half-baked reply doubtless. You still have been unable to name this Canadian province that you imagine is a more powerful Liberal center of power then Ontario, haven't you? That's because there isn't one. ;) Population-wise, no other province can touch Ontario. Québec is a far-away second. And while Jean Charest may be a Liberal now, that's only until his next party change, which seems to be a theme for some of Canada's politicians. Exactly how long was he PC faithful? As for BC, the 3rd in line, it's apathy that won the Liberals the power in that province. Gordon Campbell is a royal screw-up and one of the biggest hypocrites I've ever witnessed. Anyone who smiles for his mug shot when being arrested for drunk driving is an ass. He made the news here when he did that. Quebec has its own local politics, (if there was a non-Tory center right party, it likely would take Quebec) and BC Liberals are gonna take a beating in 2013, with the NDP and the Tory divvying up at least 15 percent of their the Liberal base, if the latest polls mean anything. This Ontario election with its low turnout and very closely won "victory" was a serious Liberal wakeup call (why didn't half the voters vote and which party or issues could or would bring them out in the next election are interesting questions) and a nicely blooded nose, too. If they cannot maintain the government they form, things will be getting really interesting for them (and Ontario) in the next election. I see there are already wagers being laid on just how long that period will be, with everything the Grits do in this minefield subject to both NDP and Tory scrutiny and approval. And with less then one in five Ontario voters putting them in the government, they don't have much room to make any mistakes.
