In 2007, many Iraqis said they were much better off under Saddam's rule than they were under to US-led coalition. Just about the only people who say the Iraqis are better off with rolling black outs, lack of clean water, increased illiteracy (Iraq had had previously a 90% + literacy rate), lack of educational opportunities (under Saddam, if you were smart enough to pass an entrance exam, you went to college for free) and lack of health care (Iraq was one of those nations that provided socialized medicine)...are US officials and RW pundits who are in favor of war and forced democracy. But hey, lets not let facts get in the way.
