FR Alright. Settle or I am turning this thread around and we are going home ! Now it's clear that 808 has issues, not the least of which is that he likes to argue, moreso than my Uncles and the rest of my family. I think it's to the point where it is hard to tell when he is being sarcastic, or in some ways like RealO, throwing things in our faces to attain some measure of shock value. Now who the fuck cares if one judge in this country or all of them think it's just fine to kill anyone regardless of guilt ? Anyone ? Is this just a non-issue ? Now let's explore this justice system a bit more, there have been many who have been cleared and released based on newly discovered evidence. Now let me ask this, why are they on supervised release ? Why are they effectively on parole or something like it when they have been exonerated ? What is your logical rsponse to that ? That prison has affected them so adversely that now they need supervision even though they had not commited a crime ? What the fuck does that say about the "justice" system ? You can't unexecute a Man, and that is the basis for most people's aversion to the death penalty, something we need very badly. Some oppose it because of the racial implications. Let's face it Blacks do commit more crime per capita, but not all that much as to warrant their disproportional presence in prisons. That includes death row. The problem is that Whites are simply better at working the system, and there is some amount of bigotry of the nth degree involved in this system that is primarily dominates by Whites. I have seen the inequities of the system from both sides, and I don't like it and folks, I AM A RACIST ! The difference between me and Bubba down in Alabam in the 1940s is that I don't want anything special based on my race, and I don't want to detract from others. But I demand the right to some measure of pride, and as such would never deny it to others. There is a big fucking difference. But race is not the only issue. Look at OJ Simpson. It's more a matter of socioeconomic status, or in the case of that neandrethal, economic status. I mean if he didn't kill her, her family did. It still doesn't matter though, he could admit it today and they couldn't do a damn thing to him. But if you lose that first trial you don't just go free no matter how unequivocably you may be proven innocent. Supervised release. Fuck you I would tell them to unlock the door when they are really ready to let me go. But most people won't do that. Oh, and what alot of people have forgotten is that when GW Bush was Governor of Texas, they took a case all the way to the supreme court for the right to execute a Man who was unequivocably proven innocent, and won, and executed him. This was a long time ago, longer than most people's memory these days. Why the fuck did they do that ? The fucker was proven innocent, why did they have to spend taxpayer's money for this ? They won the case because the new evidence was presented after the proscibed time frame. What, the executioner had to take time off his other job ? My ass, in Texas executioner is probably a growth industry. And I am all for the death penalty, if it could be administered correctly. T^T
