I think it's pretty obvious, unless you are of the opinion that he needed to try it to make sure how bad it was for everyone else.

It's all about the polls. While, here in CO, CA, NY, HI and some other states they support at a minimum decriminalization/medical exemption, the rest of the country does not widely support it. Politician are poll whores. Whatever the polls say they do. Oh yeah and Bush was born again...gave up all the drugs and fun stuff.

And you were running for office toting a bible and telling me that anyone that doesn't agree that abortions should be illegal and prosecuted and that there should be prayer in the schools then I'd call you a fucking hypocritcal moralist as well.
