Absolutely awesome, from the tealights in the mason jars to bringing her bedroom to her, I loved it, had me snuffling by 2:00 in. The grin on her daddy's face was priceless! In light of the bridezilla attitudes that seem to prevail today, I loved seeing the genuine happiness and love in the smiles. LOVED IT! [:)]

Darn good video. It really comes down to knowing a person and how much (or how little) they would actually like this kind of surprise. Obviously, she was the type who would enjoy such a thing and her (now) husband knew her well enough to have an idea that it would make her happy. Congratulations to both and thanks for sharing it, G2k.

The thing is that if you really watched it, she did plan her wedding, he just did the execution and arranged the date. He asked her in bits and pieces what she wanted and whatever that was, it *was* in the wedding. I doubt he missed any of the important details if he thought he ought to move her entire bedroom... just in case. So, this was her wedding: *as she wished. She had the joy of a perfect wedding and he had the delight of making her wedding dream come true. There was no doubt that this was her* day.

I think it's incredible. She thought they were eloping. Instead he gave her exactly the wedding she wanted, without any of the stress of planning it. I planned a wedding before and oh my god, the stress, the expense, the planning.....if I'm ever married again, this would definitely be the way to do it. And at the beach? It just doesn't get better.

[:)] I agree - there was so much joy and love between them, it was awesome. I loved when she said "Yes, I'll marry you - I will marry you TODAY." She was just bubbling with happiness. Very cool.

I'm glad it worked out for them, obviously because he knows her well enough to know she would be happy. I would feel like I had something huge taken from me if I couldn't participate in the planning of my wedding because I love, love, love planning - many things, not just a wedding day. Personally, I would be sad, but..whoever I am with would hopefully know me well enough to know this. So, good for them, but it definitely wouldn't be my choice.
