Sounds stalky/pervy (not in a good way) to Me.

Based upon the other replies and not knowing the lady in question.........I would say it is a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad idea.

You know what they say.

It's all fun and games until the cops show up and take you to jail for breaking and entering.

Okay I want to do something special for my girl her birthday is coming up and I was thinking of (now bear in mind I got this from watching a episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) sneaking into her bed room and leaving a drawing of her with a rose next to her bed for her to find when she wakes up. What do you think is it romantic and thoughtful or creepy stalker?

Do you have the key and did she give you the key? If not, I'd freak out and that would be it, I'd feel like my private space was invaded.
Guess it's a good thing I do have a key. But I think I'll just go with plan B. Showing up at her house in the morning with cake.

If she gave you the key, not a problem, I wouldn't give somebody a key if I wouldn't want them to use it. The initial post sounded a bit like you'd creep into her room

Why it is important to ask the right questions:

Do you have a key?
Him:  yes!  (cuz he made a copy of it with some silly putty and wax = bad)

as opposed to,

Did she give you the key?
Him:  yes! ( cuz she gave it to him in a gift box wrapped with a bow = good)
