also looks like in usa pbs will do same but it looked like only in cerain areas

I have only seen a few episodes of Red Dwarf I found them funny though, I am looking forward to collecting the series on DVD and also to checking out the new series when it get published on DVD as I prefer to watch TV series on DVD rather than following them on TV.

Loved early-mid Dwarf, hated the later novels and Back to Earth, love Llewelyn's 'Canadian' accent and Barrie's smouldering nostrils, hate the nihilistic turn the series has taken.

Loved 'Polymorph' and The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society', the Dove program, the Rimmer song, and Kryten, who's had more RAM than a field of sheep, breaking his programming with Smeeeeee.

Sigh, we'll always have Parrots.

I don't think there's a new series in September. As I understand it, filming starts this Autumn but it's not due to air until December 2012. So a bit of a wait.

Anyway, I fear the worst. There was really only one good joke in Back to Earth (Russian hologram declaring Rimmer "Bitcrap") and I reckon the new ones will likewise be a shadow of what the show was. If we're honest, it started going downhill after series 3.

Still, I'm not as worried about that as I am about the rumoured Buffy reboot. With no Joss Wheddon involved I smell a horrible Twilightified version in the offing.
