I would hope so, chain saws aren't good for repeated play!

There was just another thread about this very same thing started in General BDSM on July 6. http://www.collarchat.com/m_3755671/tm.htm This is my answer on that one.

We've used:

Spatulas, wooden spoons, belts, and rubber shoe soles for spanking/paddling.
A cafe curtain-rod for a cane. (the straight kind of rod)
Scarves and sleep masks for blindfolds.
Rubber bands for binding things, like boobs and balls, and for snapping behind the balls when you feel sadistic. hehe
Plastic wrap and bungee cords for bondage.
Clothespins for pinching and clipping things.
Ginger root from the crisper drawer for, well, hehe
Electric fly-swatters for electrical play zapping.
Emergency candles for wax play.
Ice cubes, paint brushes and dusters, furry/satiny/velvety material, loofah sponges, cinnamon oil, peppermint oil and more for sensation play.
There's no end to the imagination....

I take perverse joy in tormenting subs with random kitchenware while they're cooking, so a solid portion of them have become insertables.

I won't reuse a kitchen utensil once it's come into the bedroom. We seem to need new packages of wooden spoons yearly.

I tend to only use stainless, and only the handles and such that don't touch food. Its impermeable, and it doesn't come in contact with anything but the hands anyway, so a good washing seems sufficient in my mind.

If you had a spare bar, without the chain though. It might be awkward to hold but I bet it would sting.

I have found that a large wooden paint stirrer (free at Home Depot or Lowes) is a nice addition to wooden kitchen utensils. Labeled "The Board of Education" my lessons are learned.

the butt section of an old fishing rod (esp an old bamboo flyrod) with the guides stripped off makes an awesome cane.

ETA I know that a cane with a reel seat looks funny but they work REAL good.

so? i still don't see what difference that makes. i'm not saying haul it it out of your ass and stir, but for fuck's sake, if its safe for you to suck on its safe for them too. besides, you just wash the fucking thing. christ, its not like they have hyper-vc-cooties or something. it's just a bit of cunt juice, it goes away with some soap and hot water.

think it through for fuck's sake, you use the fingers that have been up you to make your kids' sandwiches don't you? soap and water is good enough to clean them...

Dang.  Who would have thought we'd have another thread so soon where the issue could be settled with.....

A dishwasher?

(I know some of you got that joke.)

OP, tons of things around the kitchen, home office, garage, etc can be used for kinky purposes.  Way too long to list.  A sadist with a good imagination can have fun with just about anything.

Well, when I am interested in opening up a can, while living my life, I prefer to do it with a can opener; though, sometimes, a knife works.

"Lifestyle" is the way in which you live. Just as clothing style is the way in which you dress. So, what you are asking is the equivalent of "Which zipper do you find useful when wearing pants." and, the answer is "The one attached to them, if they have any."

I find the utensils useful that are made for the use in which they have been employed, or, the nearest equivalent that will get the job done will suffice.

What you want to know is which utensils have been found fun and useful for playing kinky sex games or disciplining persons with. Pity that's not what you asked.

Hannah, you afraid of spiders or bugs of any kind? No weird phobia? If and only if you are absolutely perfect and can prove it do you have the right to deride mine. He prefers to keep things in the toy bag where he knows where they are, I prefer to keep stuff in the kitchen where I know where they are. And wooden spoons are dead cheap so who does it harm if he gets more spoons this way?

Except me obviously, when he decides to use them all in order of size.

Lady Pact, you put wood in the dishwasher? I lost a great wooden bowl by leaving it overnight with water. I don't put wooden handled knives in the dishwasher either. It destroys the wood.
