Hi everyone...I am rather new to the boards, and havnt really posted much, but I came across a journal today that talked about using sand paper, so I thought it might be fun to see how many kinky things we can come up with to use sand paper for...

I had someone tell me once about " something they saw on a movie" lol....it was said that they used it on the back and buttox, and soaked a flogger in orange juice, then flogged...but who would want to do that to their flogger?

Line underwear with it. Rub any part of the body raw if desired. Use it in sensation play. Glue it to a dildo for some seriously mean action, line high heeled shoes with it....Hell I suppose you could even use it to remove the enamel from teeth if that's the way you swing.

i can think of plenty of ways i'd like to be made sore, but i don't think sandpaper is one of them. i'm going to sit in the corner and watch the other sadists.

Pasted to a spanker, I imagine sandpaper could leave some pretty mean abrasions...maybe one side is soft suede, the other side sandpaper?

Use very very fine sandpaper and do not overdo it, the beauty is the day later though you can get a pretty good idea of the "next day feeling" by spraying rubbing alcohol on it....

If you use sandpaper, please use the finest grit available, or you'll wind up with skin flayed off you in VERY shockingly short order.

I wouldn't line anything that was to be worn for more than a few minutes with sandpaper (see the above regarding flaying), but yes, it's fun to very occasionally use on nipples and genitalia and the like. Though if I'm going to be using anything like that or having it used on me, I'd much rather go with actual fine sand. It's much more flexible in how and where it can be applied (imagine a day at the beach and how it felt to get sand in your swimsuit. Multiply that by about a thousand.). Plus, sand can be actually sterilized and stored in clean containers. On the downside, actual sand is also a lot messier.

Go really slow with either sandpaper or sand, as the effect doesn't happen immediately, but when it does it gets your COMPLETE attention and rapidly goes from OMG uncomfortable to unbearably painful, then you start bleeding. And it's worse the next day, especially used on, around, and in the genital areas, and MOST especially when you pee.

I hadn't thought of that one LadyConstanze. You're absolutely correct though, I remember using salt to clean coffee pots in that mercifully brief time I spent as a waitress. Now I'm wondering which would be more effective, ordinary table salt or kosher salt (has slightly larger crystals)... Only one way to find out, right? Oooh, and it occurs to me that salt would also tend to have a bit of built in sting as the skin becomes abraded. The feeling of sweat running into a scrape or scratch comes to mind.

Apologies, I just can't resist a momentary off topic bit here. I'm the 11th sort. I not only understand, but use binary. MUCH more useful for counting on fingers than the standard decimal system.

Note to self...

I wouldn't do that, you don't have enough control over the abrasion if you use a spanker, as been said before, only use very fine sandpaper and with extreme caution, far too easy to really take chunks of skin off and do real damage otherwise.

What might be an idea would be double sided tape, glue a bit of very fine sandpaper on a glove, caress somebody with it in a rather sensual way, then spray a bit of alcohol on it.

mynxkat's take on salt is also great, superb for a pedicure as well (just be careful with delicate areas like between the toes), the salt in a simple body lotion will take calluses away from your feet, now just imagine if a guy would masturbate with the aid of bodylotion and salt ;) The next few days will be dedicated to chastity.... (I keep my ears peeled, I'm sure I hear a bunch of guys wincing when they read that)

One of my favorite little tools for sensation play is a set of paint sticks with various textures glued on, from a soft fluffy fur to fine grade sandpaper. Very nice with a blindfolded sub who has no idea which of the 5-6 textures is coming next.

I agree, best make it fine sandpaper, or there is too much abrasion, and abrasion is very prone to infection.

One lovely use is to have a sub shave their ass (not the asshole, the cheeks themselves), then hit the area all over with some fine sandpaper. The shaving will shave off the top layer of skin and make the sandy abrasions much more painful. NOW start your spanking. This is most excellent for the macho male sub who thinks a tiny dom like me can't really hurt him with a spanking.
