I was on an Amtrak bus a couple of years ago, it was the middle of the day, and we had not even pulled out of Union Station yet. This older woman had a few phone calls about whether or not she was going to make it in time for some Christmas parade that night. I guess she was some sort of sponsor, or something.... Anyways, we had not even left yet when this bitch in front of her turns around and says in a snotty voice " I HOPE you do not plan on talking all the way to Bakersfield, I am TRYING to sleep". This poor elderly lady felt she had to justify why she was talking on her phone for a few minutes to let people know what time she would be arriving and that Amtrak was on schedule. I told the this snot, "The entire back of the bus is open, why don't you move"... she says.... "I don't want to"... so I said..."Well, I think I might wanna talk on my phone too" I realize some people are really rude with their phones, and this was a quiet car. At the same time, what is the difference between talking in a normal voice on the phone, and talking to someone sitting next to you, and why is one wrong, but not the other? I haven't gotten that one yet
