I will agree that they didn't need the money, unless they lost all their money in the stock market or whatever which I know people have done, but it was paid for so I say pay them. I don't know if there is a cap on how much they get, but there should be. That is like the entire time I was in the military there was a cap on how much a general could make per month in salary. I presume that still exists. When I retired and started looking for a job, CA said I wasn't eligible to draw unemployment because I was military. Found a job a month later. But I should have been allowed to draw it just like anyone else. When I was denied unemployment (CA again) after I retired the second time, I had to sue to get it, even tho their SOP said I was eligible.
