I won't believe Pluto is really a planet until I see it's birth certificate!

I bet it would have to be a long form birth certificate.

Not to pick on you (and on some emotional level I agree), but this is the kind of thing that keeps us from developing an keyboard that would be even faster to navigate based on the fact that typists for generations had to learn this particular configuration back in the day they had to slow down typists so the arms wouldn't get tangled

Being a dwarf planet is nothing to be ashamed of. Please leave Pluto to self-define however it wishes, I support its decision either way.

Think about if they just started dropping letters and symbols off of it. No more comma.

Is there going to be a day when they are teaching in schools that there are now 4 planets in the milky way? I can see adding new ones as you find them but not taking them away.

Four planets in the Milky Way? To quote Wikipedia....

quote:

The Milky Way Galaxy, commonly referred to as just the Milky Way, or sometimes simply as the Galaxy,[a] is the home galaxy of the Solar System, and of Earth. It is agreed that the Milky Way is a spiral galaxy, with observations suggesting that it is a barred spiral galaxy. It contains 100-400 billion stars and is estimated to have at least 50 billion planets, 500 million of which could be located in the habitable zone of their parent star.[12] The Milky Way is part of the Local Group of galaxies and is one of around 200 billion galaxies in the observable universe.

The Solar System is located in the Milky Way galaxy halfway out from the center, on the inner edge of the Orion–Cygnus Arm. The Sun orbits around the center of the galaxy in a galactic year—once every 225-250 million Earth years.

The "Milky Way" is a translation of the Latin Via Lactea, in turn translated from the Greek Γαλαξίας (Galaxias), referring to the pale band of light formed by stars in the galactic plane as seen from Earth.

Can you imagine Saturn being a buttplug?

No... but I can imagine Saturn as a subbie planet... he has a collar after all.

Neptune is obviously into water sports and Venus, as we all know, is totaly hot. Mercury is fast... which is just a poliet way of saying he suffers from premature ejaculation.

Stay away from Jupiter... he has a red spot and... well... should probably have himself checked out.

If I decided what the definition of a planet was then I could very well invalidate all the other planets but 4 of them.

I'll see your what the fuck and raise you a HUH ?

But really I think pluto meets the definition of three fifths of a planet, so it chould have a vote. Hell it beats Women's sufferage. And if they come here they will suffer to their heart's content.

Me and that Louisiana cooking guy gar-un-tee it.
