i was careful, enough. i got more than my original goals for the day completed, but it cost me the energy to bake the yummies. oh well.
In place of brownies, i took a nice hot bath and called it an early night.

Whenever Chaos has to go away for a day or so, i try to get extra cleaning out of the way. We learned a long time ago it works better if my
cleaning time is confined to his work hours. It's how he tamed my somewhat obsessive need for neatness. For the longest time the only cleaning i
was permitted to do when he was home was to clear the table and rinse or soak dishes.

Oh how time can change us. i can't do what i used to in the house now. However, i'm working on getting my strength back in combination with
accepting my physical limits. Chaos helps me with the chores i can't do currently. We're even learning how to clean together, which is something
i just didn't do before. i still want to go back to how i was physically, having the ability to maintain a flawless house. Oh those were the days. i still
have hope.

Do you know any good blondie recipes ? i'd so love to make something of white chocolate or butterscotch for Chaos. He really isn't fond of chocolate, with the exception of brownies. He love white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies, so it reasons to me he'd like blondies though he's never had any. i just can't find a recipe that has the right look to it.

i don't think i'm baking today, still i'm unsure. i'm still rather pleased with yesterday's work, and feel nice and relaxed with all my smell-good candles and incense burning. i'm daydreaming what colours to paint the new quarters in which i'm permitted "pastels" by the housing authorities. Somehow i have this feeling those pastels might dry a tad on the dark side.

Mwah ha ha.

The idea of a paint party is also flying betwist my ears. The notion of getting all the work done in one go has so much merit. There's also the bonus of getting to cook for friends.

i don't have any blondie recipes, sorry.

You would have to be closer for me to help paint.  Maybe some other time.

Just tell them that it looked lighter on the paint chip.

This UM will be.

Someone needs to have a girl around here. Everyone is having boys. Last year i spent forever waiting to find out what gender my friend was having, then learned it was a boy. There is nothing wrong with boys, but it is so much more fun to make itty bitty clothes for girls.

i ended up making the world's tiniest pair of bondage pants. Size "Newb' to 3 Months". They are black with electric green trim and cross-straps and lime green fishnet cargo-pockets. The pants even have removable chains ( aluminum so they are extra light weight ). The chains are more a photo-opt' thing, and come off for safety reasons. This little creative project got me a new name, " Faery Goth Mama ". Now i've got back-orders from friends wanting " no-one-has-these baby duds " . i still like the girl clothing over the boy clothing.

Mostly i just borrowed from the older method of dressing UMs, like mini-versions of adults. It's a lot of fun either way.

Fae you havnt been paying attention then My UM is a girl LOL.

i'm going to make a tuna casserole for supper.  We like it with canned fried onions, but in school many years ago we used crumbled potato chips.

Emmy, i know it's a girl, but you're not here-here. You's a bit down the road now a days.
Unlike the civie-world, all the adult females here are in their reproductive years. Lol, what i'd give to sit down and have a peaceful quiet cup of tea with a nice matronly crone.
You know, where you won't contend with sticky toddler clinging to your ankles and projectile vomit.
Yeah, the minors here are getting on my nerves, their parents let them leave their toys all over the common walk ways and in our parking spaces. Not cool.
i'm this close from shaking my cane and yelling at them to get off my lawn.
Patients is a virtue, and soon i'll be out of this neighborhood.

But yes, it seems like boys are the fad right now, everyone is having baby boys in my area.
Don't worry, i've still got some pink fishnets, sheer purple ribbon, and black velvet in the waiting... not to mention the mommies-to-be that aren't
even preggy yet are "placing orders" . i'm okay with my friends' kids, and doing my part to make sure the next generation doesn't all turn out like my current neighborhood.

Chaos and i drove to Dodge yesterday on a whim. We rose early and just "went with it". The museums were so much fun. Most of the items displayed were circa 1870's, so i got my Victorian fix. Chaos enjoyed everything, guns and such right down to the ornate lace making impliments. We had a great time and joked that next time i'd have to bring my parasol. After a day like that, i'm more than happy to pay the price of a little sun-sickness and maybe an additional freckle.

Win.
