well the good news is that it wasnt full blown labor because my cervix didnt change in the last check ups so that was good but im still at the hospital for about another 3-4 hrs or so being monitored.

I win a bit though the contractions hurt.

This UM will be.

Someone needs to have a girl around here. Everyone is having boys. Last year i spent forever waiting to find out what gender my friend was having, then learned it was a boy. There is nothing wrong with boys, but it is so much more fun to make itty bitty clothes for girls.

i ended up making the world's tiniest pair of bondage pants. Size "Newb' to 3 Months". They are black with electric green trim and cross-straps and lime green fishnet cargo-pockets. The pants even have removable chains ( aluminum so they are extra light weight ). The chains are more a photo-opt' thing, and come off for safety reasons. This little creative project got me a new name, " Faery Goth Mama ". Now i've got back-orders from friends wanting " no-one-has-these baby duds " . i still like the girl clothing over the boy clothing.

Mostly i just borrowed from the older method of dressing UMs, like mini-versions of adults. It's a lot of fun either way.

i got my roots done this morning. The hairdresser uses a light brown with one "dot" of red. She still hasn't perfected the look Rich wants. He likes curls, but not to tight. He likes it flipped up, but she keeps getting it flipped under. We'll get it right one of these days.

i'm thinking of a tattoo on my left breast - a small pink ribbon with "Nov '09" under it. That is when i had my surgery to take out all the cancer.
